Most poison baits are bird-killers: the rodent dies outside, is eaten by the bird, the bird dies, too. These pellets are great, because after two seasons I've had no mouse problems in the basement or garage. The mice clearly eat them because I find gnawed pellets scattered around the trays. Whether they're killing the mice or just grossing them out, I don't know, but there are no mouse droppings or mouse damage at the end of the winter.

This product is a total waste of money.It did nothing to help with mice problem.I placed in all areas needed,followed all directions.I even tryed adding a spoon of peanut butter as suggested. I have a clean home and have no available way for mice to get into any trash or my personal food products. It has bee over 2 weeks and mice have not even tryed.They just pass by bait and snub it.Do not waste your money.Cant even send it back for a refund.It gets a 0-

I set out 3 of these in dark areas that are hard to reach where mice travel through behind couches and one outside in a corner where I saw some mice poop. Within a week I was seeing less mice and now haven't seen any for almost all of August and this month also no mice poop to be found. I didn't add any extra food to the pellets and it seemed they ignored them the forst couple of days but then began to get comfortable with it, I never moved the trays from their position. I didn't have too many mice but now I have none live off a dirt hill where I know they have their burrows. Found one dried up mouse about 10 ft from my front door in some rocks, I never smelled it at all and it must have been there for a while as it was dried up and decomposed. This stuff works ill keep it handy and left out until it's gone or I need to replace it with new food when it gets old.

Annoying thing to be aware of The glue they use for sealing the trays is very poor. When you open the outer box that the trays are in do so in a way so nothing can fall out. A tray was completely dumped out of its tray as the glue on sealing top failed in shipping and was open. I was luck as I did open in a way that all the pellets were contained. I just poured them into the tray so just annoying.I just put these in their needed locations and I will monitor to see which are most active. I Know I have mice but it will be hard to know how effective this or any poison type product is. I will report again if I see or "smell" dead mice as that tells me its working. I will also report if the bait goes untouched as that would be an indication that the mice do not eat this product but that is highly unlikely. Watching where activity is helps find entry points and they can be sealed best with copper mesh or certain foams among other things.

I had to put a smear of peanut butter under the pellets to attract the mice and it worked.
