I got this for my 2.5 year old daughter because she loves playing with kinetic sand so I thought colorful sand might be up her alley. And I gotta say, wow! She patiently sat and colored that picture with sand for almost an hour! And typically I'm lucky to get her to sit for 15 minutes. With a little bit of help of course, we peeled stickers together and I helped her with caps, but she had a BLAST picking colors, then pouring the sand, and then brushing it away with her little brush. She proudly hung up her finished picture in her playroom! We had such a blast and I'll honestly say this is the first craft project we did that didn't end with a tantrum or a frustrated mama lol it truly was a memorable evening so THANK YOU! I can't wait to do another one with her!One suggestion I'll make is the box contained two smaller bottles that had glitter in them. The holes for the bottles are a little too small for the glitter, we had to shake really hard and not much was coming out. Although it would work perfect if you want to just accent a little bit with the glitter:) But the main bottles with sand work perfect and the sand pours out very smoothly.

This is an excellent kit for children of all ages. It’s such an engaging and fun activity for parents to do with their toddlers and for older children to go on their own. I’m always looking for fun ways for kids to spend their time that doesn’t involve screen or too much stimulation and this is just the right answer for moms/dads looking for the same thing!It’s a very quiet activity that toddlers can do if they don’t nap anymore or when the baby is napping for example ! It’s a healthy activity and something that’ll help kids in using their fine motor skills in order to create the designed bottles and colored artwork with the various tools. This is what’s really unique about this kit.It’ll also make a great gift for kids as it comes in a really big and hardboard packaging that can be gift wrapped and looks great on its own too :)Another bonus is that you can always decorate the bottles in the kids room once done and hang the artwork in their room. This is something that really encourages kids and makes them so excited ! And the sand can always be used to recreate the fun again.

The art kit looks exactly like it does in the pictures. The sand jars (sand bottle containers) are what set this kit apart from the rest of the ones around the same price range. Most kits come with sand bags which usually end up being a waste after u open them. For these, the easy to use bottles made storage and clean up so much easier.My favorite part is probably the stencils. The art kit comes with 16 stencils that you can peel off and use the sand/glitter on. The stencils come out very smooth and the entire process of doing them is very satisfying and keeps the kids busy for hours.The kit also comes with its own little tray which catches all of your sand that can be funneled back into the containers.Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a fun project with their kids and an easy clean up afterwards.

My disclosure is that I would recommend doing this outside. While there’s a way to do it without much of a mess, there is still a lot of small sand particles that will get everywhere if you do it inside. Other than that, it is a great gift and something that is super fun for young kids.
