Buying books online is tough, sometimes we have received used books when listed as new. This book was new, packaged well and good quality.Please note this book is much darker than the Disney movie.

Love all the classics

There were some things that were quite beautiful in the story, other things that disgusted me, many I disagreed with, some I ached about, and other things that were just sweet. 💙Where it wasn’t close to my favourite book, I’m glad I read it!My favourite part was when Peter Pan was treated unfairly, for the first time. It was so beautiful! When Hook bit him and it stunned Peter. And Hook felt guilty, just a moment. And then Hook slashed the boy, and Peter thought he was going to die with Wendy. And Wendy wanted to stay and die with Peter, but he wouldn’t let her. That… was what made me first start to care about him, halfway through. (:Flawed main characters can be good…But I saw Peter Pan as a tyrant, and little more, most of the time. I didn't pity or like him. After he killed Captain Hook, he even became just as bad, maybe worse, of a tyrant.Peter made me sad…But I was glad I'd read it, for perspective, before reading Kara Swanson's 'Dust'! That was really really good.

I LOOOOOOOVE Peter Pan, and I have since I was a toddler. I finally got the book here and it seems good quality to me! It does have good illustrations in it from the original book, (which I have compared to my grandparent’s original Peter Pan book) and it seems the same! I was scared this would not be a good copy! I love it though and it’s a good book. Not really a kids book though, it’s definitely more similar to the live-action Peter Pan film, than the Disney cartoon. More violence and swearing in this one, also small amounts of nudity in the illustrations, not that noticeable. (Mainly mermaids with nothing covering their chests. Overall a good buy!

Such a good book and I'm so glad I got it. It's a classic for a reason!

I purchased this for my grandaughter for her 5th birthday. She loved it. She said it's a special book. She said she will read it when she gets older.

Me encanta. Todavía no me lo he leído pero la edición es una preciosidad. Todos los detalles están bien cuidados, los bordes de las hojas están ribeteadas de oro y la encuadernación es sólida. Es uno de esos libros que permanecerá en el lugar de honor de tu librero durante muchos años. Es perfecto para cualquier amante de los libros y para todo el que quiera crear su propia pequeña biblioteca. Simplemente perfecto.
