Beautifully made box. Has two separate compartments for salt and pepper or whatever you like. Slide lid that does not come off,so you can't lose it. Keeps whatever inside clean. Not too large and not too small. Smooth nice wood. I like it and use it everyday.

The one I received looked very different than the picture. The picture showed the lid made from one piece of wood. The one I got was made of several pieces with one wide stripe of a whiter wood. I specifically ordered because of the picture. The swivel lid was also very stiff to open. It would not open with one hand while cooking. I will be returning it. As I had it a week the lid began to warp and there is a crack where pieces of wood were put together for the interior divider wall. I emailed the seller and have not gotten a response.

It looks nice on the counter; it would be perfect if it was a little heavier so that it would not tip over when used as well as being more stable to open with one hand

Love the look of this, but if you tip it at all, they will get in the other side and mix. Not what I want. It's okay, though.

Lid slides easily. Two separate compartments allow for storage for either salt and pepper or 2 different salt varieties or 2 different dry spices. Seems well made. Reasonable price.

Attractive on the counter. Perfect for cooks who like to "sprinkle from on high" to season. Minor mixing off the salt & pepper.

Holds quite a bit of salt.... I use one side for pink and the other for white.
