Great bit of kit

We had a problem setting up, which was down to us, non technical. The support has been superb and now the system is up and working, great product and clear pictures.

I purchased this unit to replace a unit who's ethernet card had become faulty but still displayed cameras perfectly.I connected all the cameras to this unit and only about a third of them displayed a picture. Thankfully I have 11 cameras but 16 channels, I was able to move around the cameras to find functioning ports but know I'm left with blank pictures on every other channel.Contacted Seller and the response was pityful. Kept going on about downloading the app and ensuring that I was connected to the internet.... Completely ignoring my issue and what I was telling them.All I can do now is throw it in the bin and by a reputable brand to replace it. Absolutely disgusted. Avoid this seller for your own peace of mind.If I could give zero stars....

Took a chance on it and loving it. Bought the hard drive separately and it was fairly easy to install

I must say this is the most impressive video quality output I have gotten from a1080N DVR. By the way, the highest encoding is 1080N not 1080P! It is extremely dubious of manufacturers to advertise their product as 1080P when they should know better. However, I very highly recommend this product. You can certainly leave with the quality. I should have given 4 stars but for the wrong advert. Pls buy.

Brought this in October as a replacement, worked great for 6 month’s then the channels started to fail, no way of returning or contacting manufacturers, Such a shame as has could be a great product. Think twice before buying

Easy to use

Bought this to replace an old Dedicated Micros CCTV system which itself is old and using coax bnc connectors.Out the box, a nice machine, looks sick comes with a PSU and rodent for initial setup. Once setup the fun doesn't begin.The app (Apple or Android) works, but it is entirely hit and miss whether you will get an email from the registration process (I hate having to do that). I was on my third email address before I got a successful code.If you want to use the browser based interface, you have to disable functions in Chrome / Edge - which you can't any longer without having to hack the registry Search 'Block insecure private network requests'. Mozilla just complained. Other browsers may work, but I'm not using them.Sannce do give various Windows software options. Windows defender does overtime saying are you sure you want to run this. If you do (I did on a VMWare image) then it does boot. Hit and miss if it will get to your box, but this runs as an admin priviledge, so alarm bells are ringing on that as well.Sannce's support pages may as well be written on a cigarette pack. No firmware updated are available for this - or any - machines and there is just no support.So after 3 hours of my life wasted, I've called it quits and sent it back for a refund. Hard drives seem to run quite hot, so if you are using this, best on a SSD rather than a spinny disk.

Not working as described. Only analogue cameras worked. Picture quality was poor.
