For a laptop tray, it's a subdued and elegant design. Definitely not cheap or flimsy. The wood grain is beautiful. The built-in wrist guard and mouse pad not only add to the elegant look, but they are functional and made of quality materials. The pad is soft, but still firm enough to support your wrist. The mouse pad is the right size and has a texture that seems to work well to prevent sliding if you don't use it as a mouse pad. The pad is also soft, but firm enough to support the tray on your knee. The lap pad can also be easily adjusted to sit flat, or at and incline. In addition to the lap pad, there are foldable legs that can be secured in place and are sturdy enough to still provide plenty of height. The tray also has a soft carrying handle.

I use this product every day. I use my iPod on it, eat on it, etc. I’d be lost if I didn’t have it. I mostly use the pull out legs. It works very well on my rocker recliner. Sees a to be well built.

This is a perfect solution to a work from home desk. It is a lot larger than I thought, but still a perfect size.

My daughter and I fight over this desktop, she sits and paints on it, I use it for work, great for traveling in car with adjustable base! Soft and great value for money!

I want to be clear: I did not get the large one. Even this regular sized one is a good six inches longer than my old lap desk and twice as heavy. This thing has some heft to it, and I can only imagine that the bigger one must be like a one person floor table. I really like that the cushions are foam and not those cheap glorified beanbags, which is the reason I was looking for a new one in the first place. My old one has the beanbags that are basically flat now from use, and this one should hold up much better. All in all a solid product, though it's certainly better suited for being used with the legs down than as a lap desk due to its weight.
