That ended 3 months ago and she had been missing Pilates a lot. We did our research, took pictures of the reformers we had used in the studio and ordered this one, hoping it would be as advertised - it is better than that! Excellent product, works like the one we couldn't wear out at the gym and able to add a tower when it comes in stock. We assembled it in about 30 minutes because the main body of the reformer comes preassembled. It is heavy and requires two people to move it until you get the wheels on it. That's because the reformer frame and everything movable within it comes pre-installed. All you need to install are the stand that keeps it off the floor, thread the ropes with the hand and foot straps and voila! it's ready to use.I initially had amazon home services book an installation (with All about installs) but when the installer failed to show up, I decided to try on my own. Don't waste your time getting a professional and paying >100 dollars. Get a friend to help you out for 30 mins and you'll be done.The reformer itself is pretty silent.
