I was somewhat concerned when ordering (because I hate returning) that they might be tippy
These lamps are very attractive and transitional in style. They can be used in a Victorian home as well as in a more transitional (traditional/contemporary) home. I was somewhat concerned when ordering (because I hate returning) that they might be tippy; but the bottom is well weighted. The height is perfect for a bedroom night table. The shades are a nice clean white - not yellowy or brownish. The price is great. Please note that you do have to assemble them, but it is not that difficult. Results - I highly reccommend these lamps for those who are budget conscious, but want a nice look.

I would have preferred a product with a 'touch' on and off. Attaching a dimming switch worked well with this lamp.
