Nice little Target plinker. It's got a little heft to it. It arrives and all tall box and you have to mount the scope if you plan on using it. I found that the scope was already calibrated and the rounds we're dead on what I was aiming at. It's a one shot at a time system. You take your shot and then you break the barrel down towards the trigger housing, insert the next pellet and bring the barrel back up, then you're ready to shoot again. Not a speedy system, but fun. breaking down the barrel and bringing it back up is what pressurizes the pellet when you fire. Doesn't require any CO2 cartridges. It takes .177 pellets, and if you look online there's quite a few options in that caliber. Not for big game. It's fairly quiet, and has one quick pop when you pull the trigger. If you have pesky rats, it will take care of them with a well-placed shot.

The seller (Stoeger) shipped my air gun in its retail packaging to begin with. It’s an air rifle! There’s any number of reasons that this item should have been shipped inside another box. If for no other reason, the fact that it is a delicate, precision tool. Both ends of the box were ripped open, no tape holding the lid closed, parts missing, and a broken front sight. Nothing I can’t fix or replace, but common sense could have prevented additional time, money and effort to do so. I live in a rural area, and have to drive 40 minutes away to ship it back or pay for a franchised drop point to send it back. The only reason I’m leaving this as my review, is because I cannot review the seller themselves. When I try, it takes me to a completely different seller. I only gave 4 stars to the item because of the condition that the gun arrived in, due to the shipper’s negligence.

This is as good as reviews and YouTube videos have explained. I zeroed the fiber optic sights first at 25 yards and the zeroed the scope which mounts positive and firm, and it shoots pretty darn accurate out to 50 yards. I'm not saying you can't hit something at 100 yards as described, but my wife and son have no need for that.

When I initially started looking at an air rifle, I needed one to try and get rid of a bunch of squirrels that were busting pine cones all over the place and being a general nuisance. When I saw the Stoeger, I was familiar with their awesome shotguns and their STR-9 compact pistols, but I was unaware that they made air rifles too.The weapon is accurate, well made, and it's an incredible value for the cost. It has definitely allowed me to thin out the squirrels in my area, and it came with a pretty decent Leupold scope, too!!!!

I bought this for my 10 year old grandson. I have tried to site this gun in with the scope. We tried several different brands of pellets for 177. This gun will not sight in. I even tried a different scoop on this gun and it didn’t work. Trying to sign it in for 25 yards. Don’t buy this gun. It’s lightweight enough for him. He is able to caulk it but other than that it’s not worth having. I don’t make many reviews on anything, but this is my first.

I got this to deter the deer from coming in my yard. Works great. Have to break it for a single load. I am a 71 yo woman and I am able to handle it well. It is very accurate!
