In Covid lockdown it's been hard for me to keep track of what day it is, but I know it's been even harder for my 95 year old mum!!! This is a birthday present for her.It's EXCELLENT - the display is LARGE for the time - large enough, clear and fully spelled days and months, so she'll not lose track of what day it is ever again (I hope).I've set it for her, but from now on it should go forward or back an hour automatically in spring/autumn, and keep itself adjusted in between if it ever needs to.It DOESN'T have a backlight, so don't put it in a bedroom at night, but for her kitchen it's perfect.It's good enough for me to order one for myself - a mere youngster at 64!!

My wife has dementia and this gives the day, date and time in a clear display. This clock is brighter, in my opinion, than a Visio clock I bought last year for another room and it is cheaper. It also resets itself automatically to the correct time on a regular basis unlike many of the mains powered dementia clocks. I have another Youshika clock that is still running on the original batteries after 5 years so I hope this clock is as economical.

Recently my Father passed away, my Mother used to keep track of date and fays by the Newspapers Dad had.So we bought her this to put in the kitchen.She is made in with it ,really handy bit of kit and no having to set it is just great.

I got this for elderly parent who was struggling with remembering date and time due to medication - its basic but meets the need without the expensive versions that has all the fancy frills.The information is clearly laid out, but the display could do with being brighter as not as clear if not looking at it from direct angle. Does the job.

It’s easy to read with large numerals and letters, and it is as accurate as can possibly be. It updates automatically when you first switch it on but this could take a few hours so don’t worry if it seems to be doing nothing, I just put it in the window until it updated and then I moved it to its resting place. I am very happy with my purchase.
