Astepro Allergy Nasal Spray, 24-Hour Allergy Relief, Steroid-Free Antihistamine, 60 Metered Sprays

Have serious sinus allergy issues and this is one of the best I have used. Everyone is different, of course, but works well for me. Pills make me sleepy even if take them at night I am still out the next day. Astepro doesn't do that to me. I got some tips from reading the reviews. I hold my head down when using as suggested and gargle with water afterwards. Still, sometimes a little of the 'flavor' and/or 'nasty bitterness' tastes come through, but gargling and a tiny bite of something gets me through just fine. So far, best and most effective product for allergies I have tried thus far.

Works better for me than the better known brands.

This works to stop a dripping nose. It tingles because it's drying up inside the nostril. I prefer it to taking an antihistamine pill as this works locally and not systemically. It has a taste that is lessened by spraying UP and not BACK into the nostril. It is the only nasal spray of this specific type, antihistamine so I keep it in my medicine cabinet. It doesn't seem to be for "unstuffing" as something like Afrin, a decongestant, is used for and so should not be compared to a decongestant. Not sure if it works for 24 hrs, but it works long enough for me to not go about my day with my nose dripping.

Finally, an over the counter nasal spray that works. It's faster, Bro.

My GF has hayfever allergies, sometimes bad. Usually Flonase works, but it takes hours to work and I don't like that it's a steroid type medication. We decided to try this. Well, it works quickly as advertised, and it does work fairly well. But she says it is super bitter, and even following the directions - tilting head down, etc - the taste lingers for much longer than the advertised "20 minutes." Hours later she says she can taste it, and it ruins the taste of food.So you're not sneezing, but now you can't enjoy food. Not a great trade-off in my opinion, but maybe worth it for some.
