Bosch 1x EXPERT SDS plus-7X Hammer Drill Bit (for Soft stone, Hard stone, Ø 8.00 mm, Professional Accessory Rotary Hammer Drill)

After trying a normal concrete bit on a door lintle, my bit tip flattened. Looking online, I came across these bits which are suitable for reinforced concrete. A struggle with my previous bits became a dream with these. Hole was drilled in a matter of seconds. Love it!

Sure, the Bosch expert bits cost a bit more, but F-me do they work well and don't dull after 3 holes like some of the cheaper alternatives

Needed to drill a few 10mm holes in brickwork of my house (Hanging a heavy gate) I have an old Bosch hammer drill (Green body) which has served me well for over 30 years. Tried to drill a smaller pilot hole on hammer action and blunted all the drills I had. Bought some new Bosch drills and managed to get a couple of holes before they went blunt. Decided it was time to buy a new hammer drill, and bought the Bosch GBH 2-28 F, which is supplied with two chuck types, both quick change. I first tried the ‘normal’ chuck with the newish used drills I had bought, no luck, still over heating and not doing the job. So next I decided to try the SDS plus chuck. Bought the drills that this review is about and WOW!!!!! I went through the brick like it wasn’t there! I also use it on some smaller holes, same result, like drilling through air! Ok, I don’t drill holes four a living, so someone might say I was doing something wrong with my old drill, but I’m just saying that this combo is amazing!

Needed some tough drill pieces for getting through lintels with rebar. Was recommended these and was not disappointed. Like a hot knife through butter. My only gripe was the set didn't contain one or two larger drill bits but that would have naturally put the price up.

Cut through Brick and Concrete like a hot knife through butter. I was a bit hesitant to spend £18 on Drill bit set but I am glad I did as these made my job so easy. I bought a canopy for my patio doors, from Amazon and I needed a 10mm drill bit to drill 6 × holes in my masonry wall which would have been a struggle without a proper drill machine and bits.I bought Bosch SDS GBH 2 26F and the above drill bit set and I am very impressed by the sheer power and quality of these Expert SDS range bits. Within 10 mins all 6× 10mm holes were done. Also drill bit still looks like new and I believe it will last me a life time. Money well spent.

Las utilizo en hormigón y block, al hacer una perforación con la bloca del número 6, esta inicio la perforación y después se fundió la punta, se verificó con un detector de metales bosch y no había ninguna varilla, utilice otra broca y era block, es la primera vez que pasa esto con esta marca. MeGusta Bosch por su calidad pero ahora no fue buena. Por eso le doy 3 estrellas.

Hice unos agujeros en piedra como si fuese ladrillo. Una pasada!
