Just a good little pump
Got this pump to suction out the skimmer box for my pool during the winter. Works great. Beware that sometimes small particles get wedged in the internal seal of the pump, reducing its capacity. It is very easy to remove the plunger, clean the seal and re-assemble (less than 1 minute)

Good fluid transfer pump.
I bought this to add fluid to my transmission. It works great! The top hose by the pump handle is the suction side and the bottom is the output side.I used quart bottles, my suggestion is to make sure the bottle is stable or the bottle may fall over as the hoses supplied are fairly stiff.

Flimsy hose
I bought this to empty a boat gas tank. Inlcuded hoses to were floppy and wouldnt work. I went to lowes and had to buy a harder plastic hose. After buying additional hose. It worked great! Did just what i needed

Nice hand pump
Ok. This is my second pump, which I haven't used yet. However, my first one was the same make and model. I pumped gas, water, cooking oil, motor oil, fresh water, salt water, inflated my kids floats, it was used a lot on my boat with no issues. No leaks, nothing. Easy to clean also if you pump oils through it.

Leaks
It leaks, but maybe because I'm not using it as a siphon. Either way, it was disappointing.

Another thing I like about this product is how you can easily detach ...
I some how lost my old ball pump plunger squeeze fuel transfer device. So I bought another one. You guessed it, this one, the Lumax LX-1345 fuel transfer and I wish I would have bought this thing years ago. This Lumax transfers fuel very fast, no joke with this 3 gallons a minute they advertise. Where in the past my ball pump plunger would take around 8 to 10 minutes to fill up 1.5 gallons (it would seem like), this lumax is no comparison to the squeeze rubber ball method.Another thing I like about this product is how you can easily detach the hoses if needed. They give you 2 hoses (1/2 inch) both hoses are 50 inches in length. To attach the hose to the pump you simply push the hose in and it simply locks in place and to release the hose to change length if needed you simply push down on the outer silver ring were the hose attaches and the hose easily comes out. Love this item.

HAND PUMP
It works well at warm ambient temperatures but in the cold the plastic stiffens up too much to be practical. Also the hoses do not connect leak free to the pump every time, it's hit or miss mostly.- Other than that it gets the job done at a practical price.

Worked for 5 minutes
I intended to pump clean water from one container to another. The pump worked for a few minutes then ceased pumping. Very poor product!!
