Audiophile sound on a budget!
The sound is absolutely incredible and works well with in any situation. I'm seeing reviews about issues in streaming services, with the right output eq setup this thing is as lossless as it gets! The only thing I wish is that it felt a bit more sturdy, definitely not something I'd take around on the go if you intend on having it for very long. Maybe I'm just an 80s baby who's once bitten and twice shy when it comes to audio wires giving out. Anyone who grew up in the 90's knows what it was like to wrap the heck out of the wires around the jack to get full sound. I haven't peaked at any long term reviews in longevity, will update if needed; so far soooooo good. I see this item is STFO, and with good reason. I wouldn't snooze on the restock if you're considering this purchase. This provides a sound 5x worth the value! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing little Dongle, with one minor problem for Android Users.
This DAC is a great device for people wanting to get the most out of their audio for super cheap. I use it with my Desktop PC, and my Pixel 2 XL. For the Desktop I just plug it into a USB-C to USB-A converter and it just works. It gets super loud, and my Koss Porta Pro headphones absolutely sing out of the Meizu Dongle. However, on my Pixel 2 XL and likely any Android Phone, there's a little catch that you have to deal with. The DAC inside the Meizu Dongle requires the use of "USB Exclusive Mode" which is only usable on 2 Apps on the Google Play Store. HiBy Music is a free option, and it works very well, you'll need your own MP3's or FLACs though, no Streaming Services will work through HiBy Music. For $8 USD on the Play Store you can also get UAPP, which is USB Audio Player Pro. This does the same thing as HiBy, except it can also use Tidal, so if you pay for Tidal you can use your Meizu Dongle through UAPP.Other than that one little snag for Android users this is an excellent device that you should definitely pick up if you feel your headphones are lacking in quality!

Almost as good as one may expect
First I will admit the sound is better than say a $6.99 dongle but it is not as good as one will expect. Having a collection of dongles and bluetooth Dac's. I have tried this unit on several phones and music players and the sound was not much different from unit to unit. As a whole if you want your music to just feel like it got a boost in volume, this will suit your needs. If you are looking for an improvement in the whole quality of sound this unit will also fit your needs.

Great sound quality, better customer support
Using it on my S20 Ultra, it sounds wonderful using it with my HD58X. It's indistinguishable from my desktop PC. Not sure how well it'll do with higher impedance headphones but for anything within its recommended range I'd say it should be pretty good. It does heat up after some time of use but it's nothing uncomfortable and is similar in terms of heat to the dragonfly USB dacs.Unfortunately it's been a week or 2 of use and it seems like moving it slightly around causes it to disconnect from my phone. Something is up with the USB C connection and I'm pretty sure that I took good care of it, so having it with such issues so quickly isn't looking really good.EDIT: Meizu Support has reached out to me and is sending me a replacement. It was a nice surprise but definitely very respectable, and I hope the replacement will be working correctly.- Meizu sent me 2 replacements which was pretty surprising. It was extremely well packaged and honestly overdone for a dongle. They promised "100% satisfactory after-sales service."I can definitely say that's the case. And I think for the support alone I'll be editing the review for 5 stars, because if the product ends up faulty, you will probably get it resolved. If it works without issues, you're going to be getting a pretty good USB-C - 3.5mm DAC/amp.

It works... But it overheats and loses connection.
I'm not the guy to ask if this is legit worth the $35 I paid for it. All I know is: my Moondrop Blessing 2 IEMs sound fantastic through this thing. I have a $5 converter as well, it certainly doesn't sound as good... but I'm not sure I'm audiophile enough to speak to HOW good or bad the differences are. The bit rate differences are insane between the two converters, and I wonder if this one is a little overboard... idk.Cons for me: this thing feels delicate... the wire is SMALL and I worry about pinching it someday. The little chip inside this thing gets warm... not anywhere near too hot to be alarming, but warm enough for me to think: yikes, is this really operating temp for this tiny thing?EDIT: the device has developed an overheat problem. As long as you don't touch it, it will work. But you bump it after 15min and it will disconnect and pause your audio. Incredibly frustrating...

This Is The Way
I recently had to upgrade my phone to one without a headphone jack. This little dongle is what all good sounding products should be. It should just work (and work well). Plug it in, plug your headphones in, DONE. No muss, no fuss. From what I can tell, my earbuds have a little more oomph-and I'm also driving HD600's with this thing. Amazing. Who needs a headphone jack?

The Best (so far)
I have a OnePlus 6T and the adapter that originally came with that was noisy and broke quickly. The wire is really thin. I replaced it with an identical one, and same thing. Worked fine for a while but eventually stopped working at all. Did research and found this. The wire is much thicker/sturdy feeling and the sound is SO MUCH BETTER. No annoying weird background hum. Sound is much more clear and punchy. Glad I found this, we'll see how well it holds up.

Very solid feeling but has severe background noise
Great value for the money given the sound quality on offer. It can drive my 80ohm DT 770 Pros but it doesn't like it. Sound quality is noticeably less detailed vs the quad dac on my V60, but seeing as how I upgraded to a S22 Ultra that doesn't really matter as much. Otherwise I am a fan of this little dongle but it sucks for low impedance earbuds or headphones.

Works good
But not for my phones

Works perfectly, sounds great, good value.
I'm very pleased with this product. It was recommended to me by several people for it's great performance. It is nicely packaged, appears to be be very well made, is very light. It works perfectly, I mainly use it to play hi-res music from Qobuz which it does perfectly well. With sensitive IEMs it can power them to a volume louder than I can listen. I have one inefficient IEM at 93db sensitivity that it can power to my preferred volume, which is loud and still have room left on the volume slider. It sounds great. It has quite a bit more power than the well known Apple dongle.I use the app UAPP with the dongle to ensure it is used to play the music and at the sample rate I want. With many phones if you don't use an app like UAPP the phone OS resamples the music to a much lower rate and the dongle just works like an adapter, those can be bought for much less if that is all you want.I think it is a quality product at a very good price.
