To start I purchased this along with the Master Tailgaters Dodge Ram 2009-2017 Black Tailgate Backup Reverse Handle with Camera. Took some time to install both on my 2017 Ram 1500. The mirror button on the Ram needed to be removed and the universal one installed. Once that was on it was just a matter of running the wire and tapping into the fuse box for power and remote for when the reverse lights were activated. So far it has only been on a day or so but it seems to be a very good quality item. Screen inside mirror seems to be good quality also and mirror feels sturdy. Handle installed installed within 5 minutes and wires run to the front for the mirror took a little more time trying to keep it neat and "factory" looking. I ended up having to pull power from my Trailer wiring reverse post due to the voltage required to turn the camera on. Camera requires 12 volts. My reverse lights output was only 11.3 on the multi-meter. Once i figured this out hook up was finished with soldering the wires inline to the trailer harness. This backup rear view mirror works really well and serves the purpose that was designed for it. Don't expect super high resolution but it fits my needs perfectly.I paired it with a near OEM tailgate camera on my 2013 Tacoma.Note: This mirror does require connection to a rear tail lamp to allow the video to turn on. Some mirrors will turn on video when it detects a video feed on the RCA cable, but this will require you to tap into a rear view camera wire near the fuse box or from the rear-tailgate. Luckily, the camera that I had came wired with a wire that led from the rear-taillight to the front where the RCA connection is made and worked out well for me.

I bought a Master Tailgaters 10.5" OEM Rear View Mirror with 4.3" LCD Screen, I learned a long time ago to bench test any product before I install in my cars and I'm glad I did so, I hooked everything up along with a brand new camera and the mirror logo came on and went back off and when I triggered the camera nothing happened, the unit wouldn't show anything at all, the screen wouldn't even come on no matter what I did I tested everything and everything was right, I even tested the camera on my car radio and it would work so I figured no big deal just a defective mirror, I had it switched out for another one and the second one did the same thing and I sent it back and got my money back, I will never buy anything from Master Tailgaters again, I turned around and bought one from RED WOLF 4.3" Anti-glare Rear View Backup Mirror Monitor W/Dual Channel, we'll see how that goes!!!!

Installed in my 2007 Prius and the mirror looks factory OEM. LCD is crystal clear. Just make sure when you connect the camera wire into the harness that the plugs "pop" into each other. I had thought my mirror was faulty but turns out the wire wasn't completely pushed all the way in.

The media could not be loaded. So far so good. Fit my 2013 Toyota Corolla perfectly. Should fit all the brands it says in the description perfectly. Just had to loosen a Torx screw on the mirror mount and slid the old mirror off. Slid the new mirror on, tightened that screw with the included Allen wrench. Tucked the wire up in the gap between the headliner and the windshield. Ran the wire down the drivers side weather strip, down to the floorboard, connected it to my fuse box using an add-a-circuit onto an accessory fuse (so it'd turn off when I turn off the car), hooking up the cameras I'm not going into, but after I did that, plugged them into the camera, and boom, here we are. Looks perfect. Works perfect. 5 stars. Video was from before I hooked up a front camera, but it works too :)

I wanted an alternative to the more expensive radio screen back up camera and this was a perfect solution. The install was straight forward and easy to install.I used the wire from the 7 pin connector so that I didn't have to tap into the harness in the cab.I cut the green and white wire to add the lines and correct the rear view orientation.The only issue was not having the correct size fuse tap for 12v power. I ordered one offAmazon, plugged it in and everything worked as expected.Not sure why but my mirror came with the camera. I was going to order the one that fits the tailgate handle but this will do for now.

Honest and without bias. Great item, but regretfully accompanied by 2 deficits:1) Installation instructions were lacking for DYI layperson “without electrical knowledge and in need of a professional’s help”; alas, you must depend on the diagram and will be left confused by it. If you need instructions, DO NOT CONTACT CUSTOMER SUPPORT! FOLLOW SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS LISTED BELOW:a. Connect green wire to the wire leading from your camerab. Connect the black/ground wire to any ground in your vehiclec. Must connect the red wire to a power source, as the green wire connection is NOT sufficient enough to power the device.2) Regretfully, customer service was unhelpful and condescending; I ended up figuring the installation instructions by myself.

I have had this installed for a while now. (2015 Kia Optima) it works great! really easy to install good instructions. My family all thought it was factory installed. Includes everything you need to make it look great installed. I would definitely recommend this as it looks fantastic. I used it with a coolint rear camera. They work excellent together. Now I have some people at work wanting me to install this in their car. It's super easy to do so I might install a couple of more for friends. p.s. the materials used are excellent and it looks like a factory mirror. Would recommend. My car is hard to see out of the back window because of the high trunk. That;s a non issue now!
