New trunk prop supports are awesome!
I just replaced the original trunk lift supports on my 2010 Challenger. The old ones had always been weak during the winter due to cold temperatures, and were especially prone to letting the trunk lid close on my head if it was windy even in the summer. These new gas-charged lift supports are from Rockauto.com and are a HUGE improvement over the old set. My trunk has a spoiler, as do most Challengers, and these new lift supports really prop the trunk open! The trunk still closes fine. I highly recommend this set of lift supports - worth the extra money to be sure that you get ones that work with the weight of the spoiler.

Like New Lift Power!
Amazon told me these fit my car, and they did. 2017 Challenger GT. After 5 years the OEM lifts were getting weak and the trunk would close on its own sometimes....and if ther was a light breeze it would definately get closed. The install is under 5 minutes and all you need is a flat head screwdriver. YT videos show you how. Now I have to actuall apply pressure to get it to close which is the way its suppose to work! Good quality, correct fit and proper pressure that should last another 5 years...
