Now that I have an actual box to unpack, I start to assemble this thing which is quite easy. One of the "coupler busings", double screw type tube, is completely defective and will not hold 1/4 bars together. So already I cannot build this thing as there is nothing else left to support this, can't wrap anything around it or you can't slide the racks through. This could have been avoiding by adding a 5th one for safety measure, in hopes that 5th one is not defective as well.The "lower bars" which would be on the surface, are not polished/sanded down, and will rip up my carpet where I wish to put the rack. The product was not inspected for such sharp un-sanded surface stubs. Or the seller just does not care.To add insult to the whole situation, there is a note of cut resistant gloves, a 25 dollar value for "free" to be included in the package. In return they will like a good rating, well, there are no gloves, and nor does that bring functionality to this flimsy bar with a defective piece.I cannot use this rack, I would rather trash it than send it back because it has been such a waste of time to get anything done with this seller.

I like how these look in my garage remodeling project. They were a little tedious to put together, but really what I expected and all of these shelves go together this way. I wish that the shelves themselves had more support wires so that smaller Items would be better supported, but to get this feature you have to spend a ton more money and buy commercial grade shelving. May have to invest in or fabricate liners for some of the shelves. There are not a lot of choices in a 14 inch depth six foot high shelf so I was glad to find these after a lot of searching. The packaging was good and they arrived with no damage and on time. The only problem I encountered was that one of the upright sections had defective thread machining so that you could not tighten the two sections together. I did not want to wait for a new section, so I used J B Weld on that sections threads to ensure that it would hold together. All the plastic pieces that hold the shelves snapped on correctly and it was nice that the shipper included extras just in case. I did add wheels and empty they roll well. Remains to be seen after they are loaded up. One thing to know is that the uprights are not matched in the boxes that they are packaged with so make sure that you identify the difference and screw them together properly so the adjuster will be in the correct placement on the bottom of the upright.1/9/18 Just want to add that the seller also claims to offer a free gift if you review this purchase which I did. Not really a big deal, but did not receive anything so far. emailed seller about this a few weeks ago and they said they were busy because of the season so it would come later. To repeat this is not a big deal to me, but coming from a retail background if you promise something with a purchase you should follow through.

I needed more shelves for an existing rack in my walk in pantry, and after looking at the prices for individual shelves, it made more sense to just buy another rack, because it ended up being less extensive. The poles on my shelf were 1 inch in diameter and worked perfectly with these new shelves. There was a difference in the thickness of the wire on the shelves between my existing rack and this rack, which initially gave me some concern because they weren't as thick as my shelves were. But after putting it together I discovered that they were just as strong, because the wire bracing underneath the length of the shelves was much closer than the thicker wire shelves, which produced the same strong effect. I actually preferred these new shelves because on one shelf I'm storing cookware lids, and they line up in the holes just right. It's the right distance to hold up the lids and make the sizes more visible. My existing shelving, with the thicker wire, had the bracing underneath spread much further apart, and the lids just wanted to drop down too far under the shelf before the handle caught them. So, I'm very happy with my purchase, and they make my pantry look beautiful!

I personally Love these types of shelves. Ive worked in kitchens and restaurants for a long time and came to appreciate the ease/durability and cleanliness of these types of shelves a long time ago. Very multi-functional and we actually have about 5 now inside our house and the garage.Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is 1 of my shelves was damaged in shipping and is slightly bent. I noticed it but its not severe enough to warrant getting a replacement piece so not a big deal.this is the first time ive ordered this type of shelf off amazon though before now ive always ordered directly from the manufacturer

Not industrial strength but good enough for anything I would use it for. I had no issues with the one I received, but there is no real instructions included. The assembly is same as any other shelving of this style. One tip is that the threaded insert (coupler bushing) has two indents on the inside. This magically fits a quarter (the coin) so you can screw it in without cutting your fingers on the threads. I also bought 4" wheels from another company and they screwed right in.

ARRIVED TODAY Poor weld SHELF NOT STRONG --- APPEARS THEY DID NOT PREP SHELF LOOKS LIKE THEY WELDED ON RUST -- it came apart. Instructions has no contact phone number to get replacement.What a waste of time.

This was exactly what I was looking for. I have a small storage room under my basement stairs, around the two hot water heaters and the furnace. I needed tall narrow sturdy shelves to fit behind the door, our of sight. These shelves were easy to assemble and fit the spot perfectly!
