Carlisle Radial Trail HD ST235/85R16 E

The listing for these tires clearly states "Made in USA" but when they arrived today they are stamped "Made in China". Pretty disappointing that amazon can have this so wrong. Can only hope they don't blow out like so many trailer tires from China do.

This tire is mounted as the spare on my flatbed trailer. I mounted the tire to the wheel using a manual tire machine. It was tough, being a "ten-ply" tire, but I managed. The tire was freshly made (last month) and was in good condition.

Was load rated C tire when I received it, not the higher D or M as advertisedNice tire, no bubbles, balanced, installed on rim and towed well for first 150 miles I've used it. I would buy Carlisle tires just for the name, quality and value.

The tires were one year old and made in China. Amazon said Made in USA. The Price was the best that I have found. They are also only 6 ply.

I only ordered two tires so far. They shipped fast...got them in two days, can't complain about that. Ordered these on 7/27/2022, the build date on the tires was 2122. So approximately 2 months old which I am also pretty happy with. No issues mounting them either. So...so far so good!!The only reason I gave these a four instead of a five is because the description said these were made in the USA...they were not. They are made in China. I wasn't surprised by this as others have said this in their reviews but it is still the principle of it. Not sure why Amazon cannot be honest about this...at this price point for a good name brand, people will still buy this tire.I will update this review later after I put some miles on them.Update: 10/4/22 We have made several short trips now and put around 1000 miles on these tires and I still have no complaints. They seem to perform well. I ordered two additional tires as well. I purchased them through a different supplier as Amazon had raised their prices, as did many other suppliers. I would still recommend these tires.
