Flying Horse Workshop Geocache Nano Container & Log Roll

These are a little taller than the nanos that I have used before. I am able to fit a 1/2" strip of paper as a log, making it a fairly spacious log for a nano. The nano comes with a log, 5/16" wide made of waterproof paper, with a small bit of metal attached. Its size and the metal make it very secure to the log - you need tweezers to extract it. The waterproof paper is great if you are in a damp environment, it does not deteriorate, however, it is harder to write on, and is difficult to unwind. I like the selection of colors in this mix.

These are good quality... just very tiny. Would be really hard to record names on the log so we ended up returning them. But of you want tiny and magnetic, these are good.

These little geocache containers are super easy to hide and small spaces to create a challenge for geocachers. It’s nice that they come with logs included.

I found these easier to thread the cap back on due to the coarser thread than standard nanos, but like other comments mention, the included logs are too small for the container, and are unlikely to be easily extracted by the magnetic bottom. However, I found a way to insert the log into the base(bottom) where some of the log sits proud of the base, while still connected to the mag base. These could benefit from a slightly wider log, like those found in the DNA/tiny test tube caches.

This is actually larger than the previous nano caches I have purchased. So far it meets my needs and I am happy with my purchase. It appears to be waterproof and to have a a Rite n the Rain log. I will update after we get a good rain.
