Color Me Beautiful Make Up Manual

I already have the original (and updated) "Color Me Beautiful" books, and they already have most of the information about make-up colors and techniques that this one does. It's all good and helpful stuff to know, but nothing new for people who have the other books.

I have purchased all of the Color Me Beautiful books including Color Me Confident and Color Me Younger which were both by the same authors. All of the makeup colors in this book look the same. I have never even heard of some of the colors. She is mixing both cool and warm colors on a deep person, when everything I have read clearly states that a deep person should wear cool colors. I was a deep person when I was younger. Sometimes as you age, your color changes. Many years ago when there were just four seasons, I purchased a book by Carol Jackson who is the original creator of Color Me Beautiful. It was called CMB Makeup Book. It was fabulous. This book is good for a beginner who needs to learn how to apply makeup. I would not purchase it for any other reason.

Excellent book in great shape. Easy reading and I was able to teach a eye class based on the information.

This is by Colour Me Beautiful, the British Company, not the American Company. There colors reflect their makeup line which is sold in Britian, Henderson the spelling of colour. Thought this was a great book with advanced makeup techiniques like contouring and highlighting. Great pics! Liked the application showing barely there, daytime, evening and glamour for the different sub types. The limited 4 Seasons is from 30 years ago and the American Company is just not up to date. Lately the industry has gone from 12 to 16 harmonies of Seasons. Color analysis has progressed and this is a great British book for your arsonal of resources. I loved it!

A very useful book, and a bit less than if bought in HK. Haven't read the whole book, so can't give a better review. But it should be a good tool book for mature ladies.
