Listen folks... This glass screen protector is as good as it is possible to be. Screen protectors in general are very nice to have, but generally a pain to install properly. This one however, is an exception. The company, Cubevit..???, has designed a good product with an almost foolproof installation. I always try to read all of the instructions before I get started, and in this case there are a couple of good hints in the little booklet. One of the problems that always seems to raise it's head is fingerprints on the protector itself. You usually don't see them until it is installed. Another potential problem is bubbles underneath the protector. With this one, it is possible to do the installation without ever touching the underside at all. They have a small tab attached to the removable mask that allows you to peel it off with absolutely NO issues. In addition, they provide some little stick on discs that overhang the edge. You can then grasp and hold and align the protector without ever touching the glass itself. The side of the protector that goes against the screen has an adhesive of some sort that allows the glass to stick to the screen and yet be removable if necessary. Pretty cool system. When you place the protector in contact with the screen (obviously being CAREFUL of the alignment..), the adhesive seems to "flow" or "spread" outwards from the center toward the edges leaving absolutely NO voids or bubbles anywhere. You just need to press lightly in the center of the screen and it essentially installs itself. Just wipe your finger tips across the screen from the center outwards toward the edges and corners. PERFECT installation. YOUR JOB is to get the alignment correct. If you manage to do that, you will have a spare in case the first one gets broken when you drop your FIRE. There are two protectors in the package... and two complete sets of installation pieces.All of this is explained in the little (tiny..) instruction "booklet". It really is small. But truthfully, if you can read and follow instructions, this screen protector is easily installed. I've been around for a few years (more than 60..) and have installed quite a few protectors over the years. This one is the best and EASIEST I have ever used.

Perfect fit. Have a total of four. No problems. JUST TAKE YOUR TIME. Make sure everything is clean, and dust free. Here's my tip, have everything ready to install after a hot, steamy shower. Keep the bathroom door closed until it's installed. The steam in the air virtual eliminates any dust from falling on the cleaned screen. I do all my glass screen protectors like this. Tablets, phones, whatever.

Great product. Easy to install, and the super-slidey feel is much better than the normal screen. I assume this is due to the oleophobic coating. Definitely improves the touch feel of the HD8.The protector is very easy to install, and reinstall if you get the alignment wrong. This is the easiest to apply screen protector I've ever used. As a piece of solid thin tempered glass, it lays flat with no bubbles.The screen cleaner wipe though does seem to leave some residue, and I used my own screen cleaners and lens tissues. The sticky dust catcher is of dubious value. Mainly, just do the application in a very dust free environment.All in all, great - in my review of the Fire HD8, my one complaint was the lack of a oleophobic coating (i.e. rejecting oils from your fingers). This screen protector fixes that issue. Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying I hate having to apply screen protectors. Whenever we get them for phones and the like we have stores put them on for us. So with these neither my wife nor I really wanted to apply them because I always end up with a bubble or a spec of dust trapped underneath the protector.Our experience with this kit could not have gone any better. They give you all the supplies you need to remove dust and clean the screen to ensure a proper placement including wet and dry napkins, a microfiber cloth, and application stickers that make it so you don’t have to touch the protector itself and risk fingerprints. The protector applied perfectly and we have no bubbles or trapped dust, it’s just perfect! We were shocked by how well it went on and it was easy to follow the instructions provided. Great item, very happy!

The installation was not seamless and the glass has a few flaws. The first screen protector I had to throw away. It had a few tiny flaws in the glass that I could ignore, but I couldn't get bubbles out from under it. I took it off, but even with careful lifting of the corner, the covering on the sticky side was damaged and the bubbles were even bigger and harder to remove the 2nd time. The 2nd screen protector, same problem, but the bubbles weren't as big and the halos on the corners will not rub out. I do think it is a good value and great price for two screen protectors, I just did not have a good experience with application. Cube vital gives a lifetime replacement warranty on this product, but I'm hard pressed to figure out how when they don't answer emails.

Great screen protector, but you have to follow the installation directions exactly. I highly recommend watching a installation video a couple of times. I had never put one on before and messed up twice, because I didn't use the dust removal stickers. Even with the bubbles under the protector it's very sensitive to my touch, as if it wasn't there at all. It seams smoother than the screen without the protector, fits screen perfectly, fits under my case and will provide great protection. I contacted the seller and they were very helpful, giving me a 3rd chance to get it right. Update... 3rd times the charm, no bubbles! I highly recommend it!!!

Great price and quality product. Just make sure there is no dust not only on top of your kindle but also the surrounding area before you apply. Because of the static, it can suck in whatever is around it if it's light enough and attracted to static
