Three stars because if your iphone 8/8plus is charged and you keep it on there it will keep it charged. The downside is that if your phone is really low and you rely on that as your only charger I would presume turn the phone off if you purchase this. That way it will charge the device. I drive for Uber though and drive with two phones one for gps and one for music so both my screens are on the entire duration of my rides. If you have an iPhone as well the quickest way to charge them is with Apples ( do not use a non certified Apple charger with an 8PLUS! google splitgate if you’re curious why I say this. For inhome Anker offers a 30w charger that supports USB-CPD (power delivery) they also sell a car charger that is 46w with a usb-cpd port as well as 3 usb all with 3.0 quick charge. Fastest way for iPhones will always be usb c to lightning cable and if you have friends with androids they as well potentially will be able to take advantage of your quick charging capabilities. The anker 30w home charger charged my 8 plus from completely dead to 20% in 13 minutes and 100% in 1 hour 55 minutes. Unfortunately I didnt time the 0-50% but what I’ve seen is it takes around 30 minutes which is incredible. No matter the higher wattage it won’t affect your charge speed so save your money and get anything 29w and above like apples original 29w which is 49.99.

When I first installed this in my car (Scion IA) the charger and phone turned on and off repeatedly. I was going to send it back, but did some research into the problem first. I found that the USB ports in my vehicle were not providing enough power to allow the phone to charge properly. I started using my old Belkin power adapter and now it works correctly. The suction cup mount works well for the window or dashboard.

This is a good charger but it isn't what I wanted in the end. I like that I can just put my phone in it and it charges but I didn't realize when I purchased it that it wasn't a Qi rapid charger. This means that plunging in my phone with the cable is still faster than using the wireless tech. That being said the mount works grate and holds the phone well, and it does charge my iPhone 8 without and issue, just very slowly.Over all a good product, just not exactly what I was looking for.

I liked that it was durable and could stand the heat on the dash. Stayed on pretty good until the glue begins to melt. Fell off a few times because of this and eventually stopped charging. There is no locking the swivel so it kinda scratched my dash but could easily be fixed with a small towel or sticky pad. Overall I think its worth the buy.

I loved the fact that whether you use the vent clamp attachment or the window suction cup, this holder would support my Galaxy S8+ with ease. I love how easy it was to place and remove from the holder. Unfortunately I'm am having to return it because the wireless charger did not will. I tried it both with and without the case on n the phone. If you're only looking for a mount/ holder for your phone then this product is wonderful. I just wish the charger had worked.

Overall very happy. Wish the "connections" could be tightened a little more, and the charging is lower current than some other Qi I've used.

i bought this "charging cable" a few months back and i still cannot get it to work on my S8+... with and without a case on, different microUSB cords, everything i can think of... other than being a sturdy cradle, this is useless to me when it chines to charging it... SMH!

Great product, charging and holding at the same time, it resolved the problem of charging cable too short while the phone was holding in front of the car for gps
