Nematodes actively hunt for insect larvae, entering through natural body openings. Once inside the larvae, the nematode excretes bacteria from its digestive tract before it starts to feed and multiply. Within a few days the pest will change color and die. The nematodes multiply and develop within the dieing insect, before leaving the old host to hunt for more pests. As the number of pests decrease, so will the nematode population. For this reason seasonal releases are recommended. Storage Storage temperature 36-45˚F. DO NOT FREEZE Store unactivated nematodes for up to 30 days. Once activated nematodes must be released within 6 hours. Store nematodes in the dark. Environmental Conditions Nematodes are susceptible to ultraviolet light (UV). Nematodes are susceptible to various chemical pesticides. Use caution when treating other diseases and pests. For optimal results, the ground surface should be moist.

RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING RESULTS!
We live in the southern Ohio forests where we cohabitate with bugs and insects daily. While most of these creatures are not a problem, the Summertime would bring an infestation of fleas on our pets and in our house that was NOT controlled by even the most expensive flea medications, flea bombs, or professional experts! We even had these disgusting fleas biting on us! Seriously out of control!!! Two Summers ago I tried the Beneficial Nematodes, hoping for even a tiny bit of relief. It was very easy to use, just mix them up with water in the special sprayer, attach to a hose and spray everywhere around the yard and house. It takes about 45 minutes to apply them, and you have to shake the container every few seconds to keep it from clogging. If it seems like it is not spraying correctly, remove the suction straw inside the container, rinse the straw, then reattach it and continue spraying. RESULTS ARE RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING! Not even ONE flea anywhere!!! We have never seen another flea anywhere ever again!! And totally harmless to pets, plants and children!I use this every year, applying once after the last frost. (Because our particular situation was so intense, I applied a second dose to our yard about a month later, but I really did not need to!)

Happy Danes Shout From Rooftops: Nematodes RULE!
When you have 2 big, ol' Great Danes and they get fleas, it's a BIG DEAL! I am a research fiend and I also detest chemicals and pesticides since I already have heavy metals poisoning from 5 different metals :P amongst other issues that require taking care with my exposure to junk. Sooo, after much searching and reading of various reviews and promises, I discovered these ninja nematodes and decided it was worth a try. That was in fall 2015. 3 years later and we have yet to see fleas again, HalleluYah!!! And we haven't even reapplied them to the lawn. If I ever see one of my fur babies scratch again from those hopping buggers, this will be my first plan of action. I have posted photos of both of my now flea free, happy Danes and my flea free yard. Get your nematodes now!!!

No more fleas!
I love beneficial nematodes!! They solved our flea problem last summer within a week or two. I found out we had fleas when they showed up on our dog. I tried everything and nothing helped until I got the nematodes. I was so happy! I am buying them again this spring as a preventative measure. We have a small yard and I will just do the 10 million this spring, but when we had the infestation last summer I purchased the 25 million and applied half right away and the other half about a week later. I used a microscope attachment for my cell phone and was able to see that the nematodes were alive and moving around when I received them. I used the Nema Globe Nematode Hose End Sprayer attachment for my hose. They arrived one day earlier than I expected.

Oh my Lourdes! And can I say, "Praise the Beneficial Nematodes!"
Oh my Lourdes! This natural chemical-less product works!! I purchased 50 million each of the SF, HB and SC combined them in a 25gal garbage can. I used my water transfer pump to disperse the nematodes on an pre-watered lawn. Because the ground was already wet, the application settled evenly. Now, I will never ever garden without boosting my plant and soil defenses with beneficial nematodes. I unexpectedly saw this product take out the mosquitoes in my back yard. The brown beetles moths, snails, grub worms, aphids, spider mites and root gall are on the path to extermination. Ants have been evicted from my walkway. And the benefits appear to be growing. I was very excited to see so many different harmful pests dying on the same day of application! Hallelujah!!!

It actually worked
Honestly could not believe this worked for our summer flea problem. We had tried everything and I purchased this out of desperation. I purchased a small pump sprayer at Lowes ($5). We distributed them and watered the yard daily for 5 days. After about a week and a half we saw a dramatic improvement in our flea problem. If you're at the end of your rope, give this a try.

Great for fleas! and spittlebugs?
I've been getting these Sc and the Hb Nematodes for years. We live on the west coast and fleas are a major problem. The first time we sprayed these 3 or 4 years ago we noticed that our indoor/outdoor cat had way fewer fleas. We also have had fewer flies which is great because we live out in the country surrounded by livestock of many kinds. Not sure if it's the Sc or the Hb but this year when I sprayed them I had a spittlebug problem. I was using the nematodes for other soil based pests in the garden but the spittlebugs the next day were no longer solid green but had the telltale nematode infection sign of turning yellow and no longer moving. I garden organically so knowing the nematodes attack spittlebugs is really great. My guess is it will only work if sprayed on the spittlebugs because they don't have a soil phase.I always buy these each year but now I might get another batch just for spittlebugs now and then during spring.

Works *great* if distributed right before a few days of rain.
This one application kept the flea population down to a reasonable level all season long, which was a HUGE improvement from the summer before. I had distributed them at the beginning of a storm front which lasted for three days so they stayed moist and probably had an even higher-than-expected hatch and survival rate.

Works well for small amounts of invaders.
This is a great product if you get it applied properly and you don't have a super bad problem with fleas at the time. Once they get a hold on your acreage you are deep flea doo-doo. I used similar products for years and they worked great but then we slacked off and had a mild winter a few years in a row and now we have to put poison on the dogs to keep them from scratching and get the upper hand with the fleas. I HATE the idea of topical or oral systemics in my pets. BUT one does what they have to. So here I am.
