My six month old son showed us all the signs - he was ready to start crawling this week, so I came online to order what I hoped were colorfully vibrant, high quality, thick foam play mat pieces and I was not disappointed! This 18 piece + rainbow kingdom is absolutely adorable, it's sturdy, all the pieces fit snugly, and best of all, my son absolutely loves it. He loves the texture of it, he rolls around and I know he's not going to hurt his head, and he's taking those first few moves to crawling in style. Out of all the objects and whatnots I've bought-wanted-needed-told I had to have - my favorite so far are these pieces. I know they aren't going to fall apart any time soon and they clean up in a jif!By the way, I did have communication with the seller and they were proactive, responsive, nice, and friendly. :)

I've only had this set for 24 hours but can say that it's super cute, the colors and animal pictures are really great - and I'm fussy. The tiles don't have a chemical smell like some products do. The only thing to mention so far is that the sides aren't really sturdy enough to stop a 6 month old. Mine isn't crawling yet but can spin and just broke the side down Immediately and started chewing it. It does keep his toys within reach though.

Just received this yesterday (18 piece pack.) We bought this b/c our 6 month old has been crawling and trying to stand- this provides a safe surface for slips and falls. Colors are so much nicer than the typical foam mats, the graphics are cute, and most importantly, the foam is dense but soft. The "walls" really don't do anything- my daughter just plowed right through them without even noticing they were there. We arranged it into a square that fit into a 5'x5' area.

Gives enough support after combining with a rug. I saw some people complaining about the ink coming off from the prints and tried to rub them off to see if that is the case but none of the ink came off. It did have a subtle smell but gone in a short time. The sides will not block your baby if turning or crawling, I guess it is only for the look. So overall I am satisfied with this product and the design is so cute. I am also hoping all the non-toxic, bpa free, etc. qualities are true because your baby will chew them sooner or later.

Let me start off with we had the original Mat with paint on it and best purchase I made. The borders kept toys in not baby. My son loved pulling up borders and shaking them above him. The problem was the paint came off. Now we just replaced that mat with the one they are making now with no paint and the eyes punched out. Everything is simular but some of the pieces are small enough he can choke on them. See picture. We are keeping it with these pieces taken away. Thought I would warn other parents.

This mat is ridiculously cute- we like that the colors are not exclusively primary colors. We found the fencing to be useless for the purposes of keeping our son in. But it makes the mat bigger once you flap them down, so at least it gave us more play space

Love this! Ordered it because it has sides! We have a German Shepherd and this area allows baby to play without getting hair on her. Plus you can change the shape easily. Only concern for the future is a few of the pieces such as the animals nose may cause a choking hazard. I’m going to glue them in or remove them.

I really like these tiles, they're cute. You can't really make a square with the tiles without missing some, so a rectangle is the only shape you can do or a smaller square - not a deal breaker but just an FYI.
