Hose fits to the filter box using only a spring, instead of the clamp that the OEM part had. Mine does not feel tight there. Any ideas to tighten it?

Mine fit pretty snug. It could not be removed with out first taking the lid for the air box off. Try putting it all together and see if you can still pull it loose with the air box lid in place. In my case there is no way it could come loose once the air filter housing is put together properly. If it is still loose I’d suspect either you air box isn’t in the correct location or the motor mounts have shifted drastically. Personally I felt like this was a pretty quality part and the update to a spring makes checking the air filter easier. I suspect the reason the original part fails is because when the air filter is checked the hose gets pulled and flexed on since it’s unlikely the person doing the work would loosen the hose clamp first.
