The gasket worked.
I put this in and immediately my car was going into limp mode. I have worked on many Hondas before and the metel screen on this was too restricted. So lucky I kept the old one since it’s a know issue and just swap the metal screen to the new gasket! No more oil leaking on the alternator!

Incorrect fitment
The gasket with the prescreen is oversized. When compared with a gasket that came with the whole spool valve, it was significantly larger in diameter and had to be forced into position. Also the screen restricts oil flow to the sensor on the valve assembly so it sets codes and cuts out cylinders. Would not recommend. Get the whole kit for $80 on Amazon.

Bit of a snug fit but it works and fixed the problem
My 2011 Honda Odyssey EX's VTEC (Variable Valve Timing System) Solenoid on the front half of the engine was leaking oil. The two gaskets fit well: The upper gasket, the one that fits into the solenoid itself, fit perfectly without any issue while the lower gasket, the one that fits into the engine block, needed a bit of encouragement to fit.The oil filter in the gasket is manufactured at a slight angle - it is like, when looking down at the gasket on a table, the gasket should be rotated only one or two degrees to the right. When I pushed the gasket into place, the oil filter needed to twist or spin, only slightly, to fit into place. This doesn't seem to be an issue as the oil is no longer leaking and the computer isn't complaining; I've gone about 700km (434 miles) on this gasket so far. For clarity, the oil filter in the gasket is the correct size, the gasket is flat and fits well.
