A practical way to hang and arrange your art.
This system was pretty easy to install. I am a 70yr old woman living alone and I was able to use my step ladder and a drill to do the job unassisted. The perlon cords retained their coiling from the packaging, but soaking them in warm water and applying a weight overnight, they eventually laid straight and flat against the wall. I'm very pleased with the gallery look for my artwork.

Works Great If Right Type of Wall
I have used these rails for several years in galleries I have owned and built. I recommend you install them lower than ceiling. They MUST be installed 100% flush to wall or else your art will dangle. They are also not as easy to install as the videos or instructions. Take your time. The Trex screws are a pain they send you a special Trex driver for your drill. They're supposed to be better with a drill than a Phillips but they strip easily and then you have a problem if you want to remove screw. Good old fashioned Phillips would work much better. When installing make sure you get the Trex mounting screws exactly parallel to each other and I mean exact. Use a level. If not exact you'll have trouble putting rail on. Take your time. Once installed properly they work great and hold a lot of weight. No more nails in wall to hang individual pieces. Great system for galleries. I recommend the steel cables rather than the plastic one's: the plastic one's curl and are just a pain, plus you have to replace plastic cables if you do multiple shows per year because the plastic gets compromised by the hooks. Oh they also make a ceiling mounted rail I've used those too. But if your ceiling has moldings they won't work your art will dangle, so instead use these wall mounted and mount rail below the moulding.

I can change art quickly without harming the walls
I moved into an older house with lathe and plaster walls. To hang art, one has to drill holes into the walls and insert screws to hold the pictures. Worse, If one decides to move some art around (which I often do), there is a huge hole that has to be covered up. So I decided to go with this picture hanging system in my living room. I had a handyman put the units up, but he said it was simple (in fact he marveled at the technology). I have canvas paintings hung on all the walls, and have moved things around as I reviewed the arrangements. Very easy to change positions up, down, or sideways. These picture hanging systems are a permanent part of the room now. There are no holes in the walls except where the hanging system was installed. I recommend this type of system for its versatility.

Great system but, yes, terrible screws.
I was very pleased to find that the system and the hardware are much smaller than the description and photos led me to believe. The silver castings/rail hooks on the nylon cord could be described as tiny. I am very pleased. The screws: These are a design called "Pozidriv." They look a lot like a Phillips head but they are distinguished by four radial lines on the screw head. (See Wikipedia for a picture.) I first saw them on GM cars years ago; apparently they work better with the power drivers that the production line workers use, but for a consumer product this is a completely idiotic design decision. Few DIYers, even experienced ones, are going to have Pozidriv screwdrivers or power bits. Worse, they may not even recognize the problem. Trying to drive these with Phillips bits, as @mudguy found out, can easily result in the screw head getting destroyed. So, dear readers, plan to buy at least a #2 Pozidrv screwdriver and maybe a couple of power bits if you are going to install this system.Since I own the correct tools to deal with Pozidriv hardware, I only knocked one star off my rating. But I can easily understand @mudguy's single-star rating of the product.

Simplified the mounting of mirrors
This is our second STAS track. This one was installed over a tiled wall in the bathroom to mount mirrors. One over each sink on a single track. Simple. Infinitely adjustable. No need to drill the tile behind the mirrors. Love it.

Just what we needed!
The STAS Mini-Rail was the perfect solution for our new "Picture Gallery". A recently painted hallway had many holes from old picture hooks. We wanted to be able to rotate our photos and paintings over time. With the Mini-Rail we can change the selection and adjust spacing and height without hooks and holes. So easy to install and adjust the framed photos and artwork. Took about 3 hours total. Friends and visitors admire the hanging system as well as the picture. We are very pleased!

Hanging made Easy
Love this system! I have 2 condo's, each have cement walls. This system makes picture hanging/ changing/ adjusting easy peasy. I will say watch to be sure and order adjustable height hooks that you adjust by squeezing to move up or down and depending on your location cable or monofilament(fishing line) hanging materials. The monofilament disappears on a walk entirely.

Overpriced, but good idea.
Completely overpriced for what you get. I was able to find the same system at nearest big box depot for a third of the price, which is far closer to its worth.
