These were much smaller than expected and just barely large enough for me (a dude) to hold on to and about a third the size of the last buff/ polish/ shine board that I had. Great for ladies with petite hands or traveling with it's little plastic case. They do work very well and produce smooth and shiny fingernails that looks like nail polish in the end. I've used the buff/ shine board twice and it's pretty well used up which is disappointing.

My otherwise very strong and healthy nails were really suffering from the repeated use of gel manicures. I love the way a get manicure lasts, but the removal of the product results in extreme damage to my nails I am giving my nails a break and was struggling with how to get them to look presentable. This buffing set is great. I started with the more coarse grain to try to smooth the nails then buffed with the finer grain buffers. The improvement is quite remarkable. Some persistent buffing results in a nice shine. Very happy with the product.

It just didn't work for me. I agree with other reviewers that the part that is supposed to make your nails squeaky shiny was ineffective

I love these! I keep them in my travel bag and they are so convenient to grab out of my bag. I didn't think a buffer would really make a difference but I'm glad I tried it. It's very discrete if you need to file them in public too! This is a must have for any travel bags or purses!
