Don't hesitate, this one is the best!!
Don't hesitate to buy this product. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. My wife and I bought a 18'x48" Coleman pool for our little ones this summer. The sifter that was included was just utter crap. So, I started researching to find a good one that would also pick up any dirt on the bottom as well as everything else(leaves, debris, ext.). However, most of the leaf rakes on here still have those few people that review the product stated it's useless or doesn't pick up anything but leafs.I decided to look these up on Youtube, just to see what other people thought. Maybe see some in action.Luckily for me, I found Purity Pools channel. They show a wide variety of pool scoops(as they call it) and pool rakes. This is where I found this particular rake made with silt material. The silt is perfect for picking up dirt, leafs, really anything tiny or big. Also, it's very durable. The way it's designed is perfect for above ground and in-ground. The edging is a rubber material and is curved for getting any debris off the walls. The edging also makes for easy pick up off the bottom of the pool.I would definitely purchase again.I would absolutely recommend! Don't waste your money on the other brands. This one is the absolute best pool rake/skimmer on the market and extremely inexpensive. How do they do it?

Quality, priced right, cleans your pool
If you are shopping for a quality for the price, super fine mesh net to clean your pool with; this is it. A must have for small and large pools alike.... I have a 12ft Best way quick set pool for my 4 year old and as we all know the pumps and filters for theses things just don't do the job of cleaning these small pools very well.... Add this Purity pool fine mesh silt net to your arsenal of cleaning abilities and you *will not* be sorry! This net catches everything down to all but dirty water. The smallest of particles will be trapped and removed from your pools water. It has done so for over a weeks use now with no problems. It is an absolute must have for small childrens pools with weak pumps and small filters. And like I said before, I am just as positive about it for large pools as well. The net is large enough for large pools, which in turn makes quick work of smaller pools. My small pool is cleaner and clearer watered now than it ever has been. Before This Purity pool silt net, all I could do is drain the water and refill the pool with clean water. This net will pay for itself.... A must buy and have if you are a pool owner from small to large sized pools.Free Shipping was fast, got here in 4-5 days and item arrived in perfect, ready to use condition. No deformities in blue molded ring on the net and the net is well stiched with a larger protective net backing to help prevent tears in the finer mess net. Over a weeks, daily use now, and no holes, ripes, snags nor tears. The only way I see it failing would be because of something the person using it did. ** I do not store mine in the Sunlight. The direct Sunlight is hard on and degredates almost anything plastic over time. When not in use place/store it in a shady location, Not in the direct Sunlight.Want a clean pool for your children to have fun in?... Buy this Purity pool net.Made in the U.S.A ☺

Nicely constructed and works well
This leaf rake net is a great tool. I was happy to see it was made in the USA. It is well made and sturdy. I foresee it lasting for many years.I used it to scoop up a bunch of nasty leaves and gunk off the bottom of my above ground pool and it worked great. It will remove all but the finest of silt. What makes it nicer than a flat net is that you don't have to bring it to the surface every time you capture a few leaves; you can just keep going until it fills up. It also positively holds onto whatever you capture in it.

Durable and effective, and at a fair price
We've been in-ground pool owners for about 13 years, an experience that has made us sensitive to the (too) frequent, often sizable expenses associated with that particular luxury item. That's why, when we find something that works as promised, has a decent useful life, and is reasonably priced, I'm moved to put my review out there. So, we first bought this item about three years ago, and after three years of frequent (usually daily) use, we have just bought another one. In use, it is effective, perfectly sized, and durable -- it is the right tool for the job.

A pleasure to use
This is my third pool rake in 2 years of pool ownership, and I can confidently say it's the best I've owned yet. It is high quality, thoughtfully designed, and a surprise to me, Made in the USA!I chose the silt model because my pool is constantly blasted with pollen from nearby trees. The silt net gets a surprisingly amount off the surface. I've seen others complain that the silt net creates more drag. Well, it seems like that should go without saying. If you want less drag, Purity Pool has other options available (Standard, Tuff Duty, Rag Bag, or Leaf Chaser), although I agree it's not totally obvious that these options are available from the Amazon product page. It would be nice if Purity Pool had the different options available from one product page. I highly recommend checking out their website to learn about the different models and net configurations available: [...] The description of the different net options is under the "Materials and Workmanship" link. The "Complete Product Catalog" link is also a good read, and also shows that replacement parts are available should it need repair.I was also pleasantly surprised to find that it makes short work of dirt on the bottom of the pool as well! I have been frustrated with my old rake's inability to get leaves from the bottom of the pool, but the leading edge of this one has no problem getting under debris. It is almost as if it has the ability to suck up things into the net. I was also pleased with how easy it is to remove leaves along the tiles or the corner. The slim sides of the frame, and angle of the front corners of the rake fit into tight spots easily and save me a lot of work.

Works REALLY well
Finally, a net that works to get ALL the dirt, silt, and debris out of the pool. Moves easily through the water, but gets even fine grain sand out of the pool. Works far better then other nets or useless hose-powered vacuum things. Did not come with a pole, and oddly designed so that it's not possible to put a standard pole on it. Had to make a PVC piece and drill holes to connect to net and then to a pole. Seems like an odd oversight here. However, once that was done, it's fantastic and completely worth the money.

Very good but leaves the silt behind
I liked the sturdiness of the net and it worked well at picking up larger insect carcasses that vacuuming didn’t remove. My only disappointment was that much of the fine silt passed through the fabric despite it being called a silt net. Worth the money as it collects up the larger debris and is easily cleaned off with water.

Superb...pine needles do not slip through
My only knock is it's a bit expensive but having said that my next thought is why is this excellent product not readily available in pool supply stores?? Far better than anything else we've used. Completed our second pool season and it's still in perfect condition. Great purchase.

Does a good job
Good product. Does what it says. A little pricey for what it is but gets out the finer particles.
