Was not able to DVDs on my laptop. Will order an external DVD drive that will work with my HP laptop.

Works well so far. I don't hear any noise when in use, but it must be on a stable, flat setting to work well (that is to avoid stops).

I bought this a couple months ago and now using it for the first time, it doesn't work:(

DVD write function does not work. I can read DVDs but can't burn using Windows 10.

Very impressed with this drive! Didn't expect too much @ this price, but it works great. Burned DVDs from explorer and Pinnacle Studio with NO issues at all. The only complaint I have is the cable, could use a couple more inches...

Piece of crap. Worked one time then just beeped, and the thing wouldn't play anything. Mad I payed money for this thing.

got it for $20, but has no use for it

This does not burn Cds for me but will play them. I'm disappointed to have spent the money for half o the functionality. I wish I had tried to burn a CD with this the day it arrived so I could have returned it.
