works well, firm, good size for avg adult, not for side sleepers, use only for back

After researching an acid reflux sleeping wedge I decided on this 38” one. It is quite soft yet supportive making it comfortable and easy to adjust to sleeping on. Another reviewer advised to be sure and order a case, which I found only in the 38” size. The case is a VERY tight fit getting it on the wedge. For this reason I deducted one star. I would suggest that the medium size wedge is wide enough for the averages size person, in which case, the wedge case would more easily fit.

The long length of this pillow means that you can get more of your torso on it and I think it keeps you from sliding down on the pillow in the middle of the night. The pillow is just the right amount of softness for me and I can sleep comfortably on it all night. I use my regular pillow on top of the wedge (had to prop it up a bit on the top but it works.). It doesn't seem to have any smell at all. Nice quality. I thought the height might not be enough to help with acid reflux, but it does seem to be high enough and it's helping. Nice quality pillow, and I would purchase it again. Suggestion: buy the widest one you can for your bed, especially if you are a side sleeper, and you'll be more comfortable as your arm will not hang off the edge.

This bed wedge is really soft but firm enough to support with back pain, acid reflux, breathing issues, etc. This is a great product!!

I have an adjustable bed at home, but needed a wedge pillow for when we travel to prevent acid reflux. Other wedge pillows I have purchased in the past have been hard as a rock and very uncomfortable to sleep on, so I decided to try this one based on another review that said it was softer, and I am glad I did. It is firm enough so that it didn't flatten out during the night, but soft enough to be comfortable to sleep on. It is also longer than others I have tried, so the edge doesn't dig into my side or bend my body uncomfortably. It's only a few inches high, so if you need your head raised higher or need a firmer wedge, this one might not work for you, but after a long vacation with no problems and comfortable sleep, I would highly recommend this one to others.

Seems like it should work. as I try to sleep on on back to minimize hip pain during the night. The leading edge only about an inch, and extends long enough to feel as it ought to work. But it starts to feel like a ledge after an hour or so. Never felt good, even after 2 weeks of trying.May try it again if I get really congested with cold or flu, but for now have out it in storage.

Pillow has been very helpful for supporting my neck and shoulders. Moderately firm. Worth the $50 I paid.
