A hobbyist start loop pedal.
I have used this cute machine for 3 hours between two days, and I have learned to record sound in 4 differwnt tracks, also read the little timer roller for overdub. I am absolutely new to loop pedal and looping, but I play some instrument. The most helpful function for me is that I can just plug my 3.5 headset in it for practicing and my own creative fun.I think for how sturdy and versital t is, I can use it for a while.

Difficult to Use
Basically a throwaway for me; cheap, had to give it a look. This looper is marketed under several "brand" names, all the same device - and zero support, very limited documentation and who knows who actually builds these things. The drum part is usable, the looper part not so much, tap too much or the wrong button at the wrong time, depending on the current state and drum rhythm may zoom to 250BPM without warning, ok...; so yeah, but getting back to where you were through the various timed button clicks is more difficult than it should be, too many functions wrapped up on those buttons to be truly usable in a live environment. I bought this device as a cheap alternative for acoustic coffee shop performance, just simply not usable from my perspective - perhaps you have better luck - I'm a player not a button clicker.

Surprisingly good
This little pedal works pretty good. It's surprisingly sturdy. It's metal. It's smaller than it looks. It doesn't take up much room. But in the interest of giving you the good and the bad, I think it makes a fair amount of noise. This might just be my unit or my amp but there is a hum that comes from it even when you're not using it. Not a loud feedbacky hiss or anything. Just a hum. And maybe I haven't read all the directions so maybe I'm wrong about this but there doesn't seem any way to turn it off when you're not using it. But the drums sound pretty good for canned drums through a guitar amp. There aren't a lot of latin beats that usually come with a drum machine type of thing. No cha cha or rumba. Which might be good unless you're a latin musician. You can't program your own beats though. For a looper, it works well and I'd say go for it. For a learning aid it's fantastic. Learning to play in time is something many struggle with. All in all, an extremely fair price for a really good pedal that could cost you WAY more.

the on switch?
Found 3 very unhelpful videos on You Tube. The instructions are translated poorly. They don't cover the "On Switch". There is a flow chart that resembles the KREBS cycle. Completely unintelligible. So I honestly think this is a wonderful little drum looper thingy but I just don't have the Big Brain to use it. Hope you do.
