Like some other users
Like some other users, I was about to leave a review saying everything except the FM radio works great, but then spotted additional instructions lurking in another review. now it works great in all modes. HIFIMC needs to get this out where purchasers can see it, since it isn't mentioned ANYWHERE in the printed manual:After switching to FM radio mode, you have to hold the Play/Pause button down till the blue LED starts to blink, at which point it is searching and programming FM stations. Then it works fine.For it's size, the sound quality is really excellent. At this point I've tried all modes and they work fine.There is the problem of figuring out which FM station it is on without a readout. I only listen to about 4 stations at the low end of the band, so not a big problem for me. Also, in SD card mode, it just goes through cuts it the order it finds them, so skipping one isn't a big deal, but selecting a particular one in a big playlist just isn't practical.I have to join in on the complaint about its full volume status announcements. They should have made this go through the volume control. The first time I turned it on was in the middle of the night and it woke everybody in the house up. DEVICE IS READY, BLUETOOTH MODE! Warning to new users: muffle the speaker with the palm of your hand and/or do it under a pillow when you turn it on or change functions.

Overall, a good buy
Pros:- Surprisingly powerful sound. (You can feel it forcefully pulsating in your hand!)- Sound quality is good for the price. (But only one speaker, therefore not stereo.)- An added bonus is an FM Radio mode. (Good to have if electricity or Internet goes down.)Cons:- Button lables are very difficult to read. (They are almost invisible.)- Button menus are not intuitive and need some use to figure out.- Some may not like the audio announcements ("bluetooth connected", "bluetooth mode on" FM mode on" and "battery full")

It did not last!
I purchased this Sept., 2017 and barely used it. I used it one day while away from home. It quit and would not take a charge. Be very careful with this product as the sound was good, but it did not last for any time.

Rating would be higher but like most cheap electronic products it isn't very intuitive, not user friendly, and the instructions are poorly written. (I also wish it had a headphone jack).

What a Powerhouse of Sound!
Lemme tell you! Just like the headline states, this little speaker IS a 'Powerhouse of Sound!' Not to mention, if you hold it in your hand, you can feel the vibration of the sound! (Don't you get it twisted--I ONLY use it for sound! LOLOLOLOL!)! I have a great laptop, but it doesn't have the best quality of sound and/or it could be some videos/tv shows, etc., just don't have the proper quality we'd expect. Because I love technology and all kinds of gadgets, I have purchased various speakers to compliment my laptop for sound. I have 8 very compact speakers, but now that I have this one, I don't want to use the other 7! They neither compare to the battery life nor to the sound impact. Honestly, for the first time 2 days prior to this review, I held it in my hand while a video was playing and I could feel the vibration levels! I am not saying that it will shatter glass like an operatic soprano (or will it?), but it packs a wallop! If the seller had this in another color, I'd simply ditch the others and get a second one of these; or I just might just get a second one of these just as a backup. :-) I truly recommend!!!Updated review 10-29-18: While I still love and recommend this little powerhouse of sound, after a month of long life in the charge department, it is no longer lasting the length of time it was initially. I tested it by charging a few hours vs. having it charged a full 24 hours recently. The charge on both lasted the same and approximately 2.5 hours. It was disappointing since I so raved about it in the beginning. Nonetheless and though I am beyond the return period, I still DO enjoy the strength of the volume.

Powerful sound from such a small speaker. Buttons to control functions are a little confusing. I had to contact customer support, because I was unable to load music to the SD card, until I asked what format the radio recognized MP3 (it was not stated in the directions).

Don't buy it! It's cheap, but it's junk.
I've had this little device since October 27, 2017, and it's now the end of January, 2018, and the things has given up the ghost! It won't take a charge, it won't connect to some bluetooth sources that it used to recognize, and so it's just useless. Three months for $20+ dollars? Not a great deal.

Works with only one thing
As others have noted, sound is great for size.But this will not pair via Bluetooth to any of my Kindles nor to my iPhone. FM picks up only country stations (seriously--and I live in New England). So good only for TD card. Oh, AUX did not work either.
