Better than Vivobarefoot and cost less
I have owned Vivobarefoot shoes and I like the styling, but the shoe always feels too stiff for daily use. The Xero Kelso had the styling that I wanted with a softer flexibility to the sole. I wear them for everything from going to to the store, to exercising and even going to dance classes. My only con are the flat cotton laces, which were too chunky for the shoes and collected dirt at a faster rate than the rest of the shoe so I replaced them with a thin, round, no-tie elastic lace in a more aesthetic gray/white color to match the shoe better.

Great shoes. Terrific company.
These Xeros were a splurge for me, but I was tired of quickly blowing through the soles and heels of cheaper gym shoes. As soon as I tried on the Xeros, I loved how light they felt and wore them nonstop (although it was a small adjustment walking without arch support). One of the decorative white side laces tore out within a couple months. I submitted a help ticket, and the company immediately and quickly solved my problem. Xero's comfortable shoe and warranty made me a permanent customer. My only "complaint" is they don't make a zero drop dress shoe. (Yet?)

Look great - ran small
I wear a men's size 12 in every shoe, but these were too small. They were tight all the way around. If you always wear a size 12, order up.

Fun, light, as every day shoe- 6 to 8 month max. Sole separates from upper, particularly the heel.
Looks great. I was a skateboarder when i was younger and loved lopro shoes. I felt shoes like that up'd my balance.I joined the airborne infantry out of High School in '98 so limited selection of black boots. Thick soles, laces high. I understood we needed the durability of those things for 95% of what we did but whenever we practiced room clearing, or MOUT, (if you're in the know) I always thought back to those skateboarding shoes.I thought what practical and psychological difference they would make. But i know, i know, what about debris like nails and glass.Anyway, i have a special place in my heart for shoes like these. I feel more centered and connected to the ground. And i don't mean spiritually, i mean l feel like my center of gravity is "more right", like lateral, backwards, or all fours on the ceiling, and forward movement feels morestablI wouldn't run in shoes like these though. I like my arch support and cushion and if it ain't broke-Last note XERO needs to make their shoes last longed. Their position in zero rise industry allows them to popularize the industry much further into the mainstream with a good casual llne up that can hopefully become more extensive. Fix the durability issues in your niche you can add weight.

Better than they look
I am looking for a pair of minimalist shoes for tennis. Tried Vivobarefoot motus which are sturdy as gym shoes, but not having sufficient grip and lateral support for tennis. Considered both Xero Kelso and 360, eventually given the kelso try. Very happy with them. I played competitive tennis and they hold up very well. No detriment to speed and braking. Of course, a heel landing will hurt, but we improvise our movement instantaneously as a human animal. Most importantly, they look like a pair of retro tennis shoes.

Love them for Pickeball!
Soft and easily able to be agile. No fear of rolling ankles while cutting.

I wish 0 stars was an option
After waiting literally 3 weeks for them to ship and arrive i was extremely disappointed. These shoes aren't any wider than other shoes, in fact the box doesn't say anything about them being a "wide" shoe even though they are advertised a such. I assume they're the typical "M" width. As for comfort I'm NOT impressed at all. This is not the shoe you want, and it's definitely not worth the 3 week wait to get them. As for walking ability they tend to ride on my ankle bone and rub it raw. They seem good quality, just not what they're advertised to be. Id compare them to a puma shoe if i had to say they are similar to anything.... If 0 stars was an option they would get 0 stars.
