Those leaving negative reviews because you can't see through these cups or because it is hard to see the measurements from inside the cup, did you look at the picture of these cups? Did you read the description? It states; opaque cups with graduation marks on the outside. Graduation marks are approximate and the markings are on the outside. Precise measurement is more challenging than translucent cups. Here is the definition of opaque - NOT able to be seen through; NOT transparent! These cups are great little cups. They are sturdier than I expected. My husband and I have had zero issues with them! He measures into small medicine cups first then pours the resin into these cups for mixing. They are perfect for anyone who doesn’t expect to be able to see through an opaque cup.

I purchased these for mixing two-part epoxy resin, but I didn't think about them not being clear. They are well made and have good, sharp, easy to read markings on them, but maybe not the best idea for clear two-part epoxy resin, as they are translucent, but not transparent. The way I measure the resin parts, it's hard for me to see the marking line if I'm looking from inside the cup, or the resin if I'm looking from outside the cup. They might be quite suitable, though, if you measure your resin components by weight, and don't have to rely on being able to see through the side of the cup.They are perfectly handy, though, as paint cups, or for small acrylic paint pours.

I use these cups to mix plastic resin. The measurements are great and the wax coating really allows you to get most of the liquid out. If you are careful you can sometimes easily lift out the hardened plastic resin and re-use the cup. I only wish these were offered in a 5oz size so I could mix larger batches at one time. Overall these get a thumbs up.

Hard to measure accurately through cup material

I want to use these for measuring and mixing epoxy for boat building. They are nice and sturdy and work well for mixing but they are opaque enough I can't see the epoxy through the cup - so measuring is impossible. I'll keep them for general mixing but I bought a different brand that is more translucent for measuring.

I have a landscape business and have to mix oil and gas for tools, this is an easy way to measure oil needed and throw away. No mess etc.

Easy to use and economical for small resin batches.
