2 Pack Trimaco 10188 Super Tuff Waste Paint Hardener, Paint Stripper, Paint Remover

They say it works with up to 2/3 of a gallon of paint and that seems to be fairly accurate. I was able to put the paint can out for the garbage the next day after mixing it in. I find it is much better to slowly mix the hardener into the can a little at a time, instead of just throwing a whole packet into the paint at once.

I used this product to dry up some old paint that was taking up space in my closet. It took 24 hours to harden, but it does work. My advice is to stir the product into the old paint and leave it with the lid open for 24 hours.Leave the can in the direct sunlight if possible.See pictures for the beginning and end results

Works well on latex but beware, it takes much more for oil based paints. Description says it is for all paint, but on the back of the package it says the absorbtion rate is longer for oil based.

The paint hardener arrived exactly on time and did exactly what I needed it to do. I would definitely buy it again

This stuff works pretty well, but not so good on oil based paint.

Waste of time and money. Use cheap cat litter. Works better and faster.

I ended up pouring two full packets into a half gallon on waste oil-based paint. It made the paint a bit thicker, but it never actually hardened. Disappointed.

Had to clean out a dozen old gallon cans and one 5 gallon from my mom’s shed. This product dried all the paint so I was able to throw cans in dumpster instead of hauling to a facility.
