Purchased this for my father. It is okay if you need a card reader but not the best. Reader is a little slow but does work. The real problem we had is that upon removal of the card, the inner part that reads comes out with it also. It goes back in and we haven't had trouble reading the cards just annoying. If you have the extra funds I would get the one from Apple.

Now this is what all card readers should be like. Quickly opens all the thumbnails of all the pics on a card in seconds, without some poorly written (poorly rated) app like the last one I tried. It is opened directly in Photos on the iPad. I guess it would be nice to be able to magnify prior to choosing which ones to import, but hey, it doesn't require an app to be able to use it. I wish I would have found this one long ago. Simple and functional works for me.

Worked good for probably 10-15 times them became intermittent and stopped working completely. Exactly 1 month after I got it. Spend your money on a different product.

Used this item 3 times and it quit working! Other than that I was impressed by this product.

Does what it's supposed to do, so photographers shooting RAW should beware that it's on the slow side; this is a consequence of it being USB 2.0, though. Otherwise, it's very impressive — I'm unbelievably glad I can use the same adapter on iOS and Android. I just wish tnere were a USB 3 version for the iPad Pro.

This doesn’t work with an iPad Air 2 running iOS 11.0. I plugged it in as directed, and nothing. I mean nothing. No import indication in Photos. I checked three times. And then twice more just because I doubted myself. Fortunately I purchased this with an Apple Lightning to USB camera adapter. I hardwired that Apple made device to my new Nikon DSLR and then imported some two hundred photos in less than a minute. Save your money but more importantly save your time. Don’t buy this.

Works great on my iPhone 7. Read the directions and install it into your phone properly. Then go to photos and it is really easy to use. Great product.
