over the head loop leash
I don't know what these are really called. I found them searching loop-style leash. And bought one years ago of a thicker braid, way to thick for little puppies or breeds. This is perfect for a small dog, but can be used for larger breed as well. I haven't used these yet. And can only wish they'd stay as clean for awhile. They are soft, and a good thickness without being too thick. This seems to be durable and I love the loops style, over the head type fastening, like a snare. And can easily be sized to fit any size dog. Good for a quick walk, or "get-out" from car. or late night "run", when you don't feel like securing a leash. don't forget to take a pick-up bag. Could also be used as alternative to leash which would attach to collar. For the price, you cant do any better.A side note: Anyone with a dog, should own at least one pick-up bad cylinder of any type. They are handy, and most refills fit any standard size holder. A similar review is posted about the blue style. But both are of same quality. so review is the same. Though this red one, is a little thinner !/2 the thickness as the blue, but seemingly just as strong.

Great quality and works exactly as expected
Great quality and works exactly as expected, but there are other options out there that have a spring loaded stopper that slides down the leash towrds the head once you have the loop in place and it keeps the loop tight around their neck. This leash only has the standard slip made of leather which is typical and usually works to keep the loop snug, but with hyper dogs that need lots of training the leather is only slightly effective and you need to adjust a lot. It's a great leash for the price and exactly what I expected, but I ended up getting a different one with the spring loaded tightened and it's much better but was more expensive.

Good for a cheap leash
For most walks I prefer a martingale collar with a standard leash. But for quick potty breaks that setup takes a little more time that it is worth. Yeah maybe I am lazy but I wanted something that I could put on fast when we are only going out for a few minutes. I am not a fan of choker leashes but when using it only briefly there is no harm. It seems sturdy. I guess the bit of black material is intended to keep the leash tight even when your dog is not pulling, but it slides to easily for that. For that reason you should be careful Fido does not slip out. Considering the price and how I use it, this was a good buy for me.

Good length. Not the shortest lead I've used
Good length. Not the shortest lead I've used, which I like because I've been using it on a short puppy. I appreciate the extra length. However it is very much intended to keep your dog at your side. Too much pulling and twisting could break or stretch out the handle, and also wind up the cord in an undesirable way. Overall I'm very pleased with it. It's proven tougher than I expected and I would absolutely buy another. I like the thickness of the rope--it suits small and large breeds alike without digging into their skin should they tug. It washed well in the washing machine. I even put it in the dryer for a short cycle. I have also been pleased with the fastener that slides up and down the lead to help secure the loop in position around the dogs chin.

Great as a back up or quick outside break leash
It's a cheaper product, obviously as you can see by the pricing, but gets the job done. I used it while doing some dog walking at a shelter. Sometimes it was hard to find an available leash so I decided to bring my own. Its not as long as I thought it was going to be, my fault for not paying attention to that not the sellers. I wouldn't use it as my normal leash when going on walks or anything like that. I would use it as a back up or for a quick outside potty break. When you compare it to the other slip leashes out there and the pricing on those, this really is a good buy if you use it like I do. If you are looking for a full time leash, I do not suggest it.

Pet Dog Nylon Adjustable Loop Slip Leash Rope Lead 1.2m
The piece of plastic that connects the rope into the leash handle pulled apart after one strong pull from my 40 lb puppy. After retying a bowline knot to create a handle the leash continues to serve its purpose. All in all, its a good cheap option for a back up leash to keep in the car or carry in my back pocket when my pup is off leash. If you have a big and/or strong dog, the piece of plastic that is used to hold the handle together should not be trusted to keep your dog safe and by your side. I purchased two (one for each car) and will only use the one that I tied for now until I pull apart the other one and secure it with a knot that I trust.

I like this product and so far
I like this product and so far, so good. But I've only had it a few days and my dog weighs 11 pounds. It seems to work quite well with her pulling. The only slight complaint is that I thought I was getting the color RED and it's sort of an ugly black with yellow and red stripes. I'm not thrilled with the look of it being an owner who prefers pretty leashes, but aside from that I'm happy with it.

It's okayish
Okay even though it's pretty flimsy it's not the worst do the price my border collie black lab mix and my carine terrier did decent on the leash and my lab collie mix is a super muscular puller. Do I trust the product 100%? No but it is better suited for training small dogs or pups. I give it 4 stars for not snapping, invest in the actual ceaser Milan leash for bigger dogs
