I bought this silicone stopper (bung, cork, plug) assortment because I had messed up a set of freezer packs that I had recently bought. Instead of getting all of the air out of the freezer packs as the directions stated, I filled them with water and then jammed their non-removable plugs in and sealed them up without thinking. Air is a good insulator and not something you would want in your ice packs ( I know, I know, get to the stoppers already!) - So, I wanted to fix my mistake. There was no way of knowing what size stoppers I had just jammed into the freezer packs, other than they were blue silicone stoppers, and this kit seemed to have something similar in it from looking at the pictures. And lucky for me, they were the exact thing I needed! I ended up using a corkscrew for wine bottles to extract the original stoppers, which worked great and then I was able to use some of these stoppers as a direct replacement, after squeezing all the air out, of course.If you need a nice assortment of stoppers for emergency freezer pack repairs or just to have around the laboratory, these stoppers seem well made and will probably stand up well to anything that doesn't eat or degrade silicone rubber.

Just did a engine head removal and off to the machine shop for two weeks. I used these to plug holes and they were perfect.Why do you need these ? Well I overlooked a small pcv port on plastic air intake and a dirt dauber found it.Would not clear out with anything and only one side was accessible. cost me a new air intake.I only wish they had much larger plugs in this set.

I am restoring an old car. Frame off restoration. These work great for sealing the brake lines, transmission lines, gas lines and power steering line. Also used them to plug the hose hole on the power steering pump. Because these are solid rubber, I have found you can cut them off to the perfect diameter for the application. Great set for any car mechanic.

These were really helpful. I'm using them to block the injection holes and other, on my engine block just before cleaning. They are good quality, no hint of tearing or falling apart, reusable.

Good selection but smaller individual pieces than I expected

Used it to plug the brake like when I was changing acle seal in a 3rd gen 4runner. Didnt loose any brake fluid. The good part is I didn't even have to bleed the brakes.
