Globetrotter All-in-One Carry-On Backpack

I recently had the opportunity to use the Akona Globetrotter All-in-One Carry-On Backpack for my scuba diving trip, and it truly exceeded my expectations! This backpack is expertly designed for divers, offering ample space to securely hold all my gear while also meeting carry-on size requirements. I especially love the dedicated section for my regulator and accessories(purchased seperately), keeping everything protected and easily accessible. This ais a high capacity bag (see photo for everything I can get in it) with more than enough room for all your gear. I just got back from the Bahamas and this bag handled my daily snorkeling session gear no problem. The only minor shortcomings are that the main compartment is just a cave with no subdivision. I solved this by using packing cubes. Also, if you’re shore snorkeling, there’s no mesh panel in the bottom to shed sand/water.

Big enough for all my equipment. BCD, ADS, mask, fins, boots and gloves. In warm water I can walk on the boat in my shorts, rash guard and flip flops. One trip from the truck to the boat.

What a great gear bag. Bought to bring a full kit to Sea Base in Florida for Scout Summer Adventure. Fantastic quality and perfect size! Easily fit BCD, reg assembly with pressure and depth gauges, fin boots, snorkel, mask in the case, and weight bag. Fins strap to the outside. Pockets were big enough for save a dive items, Inflatable Surface Buoy, sunscreen, small first aid kit, and cell phone and key storage with plenty of room left over. Loved it so much we bought 2 and had the tops embroidered so we could tell them apart in a line. You won't regret this purchase for your gear if you have to log it around an airport or a long ways to your dive boat or site.

The BEST dive bag I have ever owned. Versatile, perfect size, and withstands some heavy abuse hauling it around all the time.

excellent quality

Purchased this bag for a flight from Utah to Key West and a Motorcycle ride from Key West to Utah. This bag performed great - Everything fit and fit perfect in the overhead bins - NO ISSUES. Strapped the bag to my motorcycle and made a great back rest for the ride back. Only one incident - The regs fit in the bottom of the bag, so when you go through TSA the regs definitely reg flag on the Xray. The had to check them which is not that big a deal if you pack everything right. Great bag, well worth the purchase

When I took delivery of the bag I was so disappointed- it looked so small, how on earth would my gear fit in there? I'd bought the matching regulator bag, and put that in the bottom first which seemed to open up some kind of trans-dimensional space. I mean, this bag looks tiny on the outside, it snugs to my back and is much shorter than any other dive backpack of had but fits everything in. Which is why I love it. Everything fits - my medium Zeagle Zena bcd, regs, gauges, mask, rigid snorkel (full size, not one of those foldable ones). Handy pocket on the outside for my computer, wallet etc. This is like one of those mini-minors in the old movies that clowns just keep getting out of. I have no idea how it works, except maybe magic, but it definitely does.

Love this bag. Great value. Compact. Fits 99.9% of everything. As I add more gear, it gets tricky. Won't fit all of my diving equipment + my 8mm Semi-Dry wetsuit as well. Asking a bit much for this bag.

Not made durable

This actually fits all my gear. Easy enough to carry. Love how the whole top opens to fill. Don’t have to worry about tucking in and around zippers or bag edges. Down fall… no padding in the back. My BCD was poking me in the back pretty aggressively while walking through the airport. That was annoying. I did stop to adjust/ replace it a bit but didn’t fully help. Might help to pack a towel down the backside for some padding. I found the fins fit fine clipped on the outside but I can also appreciate that an adjustable strap would be better. I have only used it on one trip so far so we will see how it holds up. For reference I’m 5.5 feet and fins are a small….
