Better design in economic cost.
I can tell that my hair and skin feel healthier after starting to use these cartridges. Especially my hair becomes way much softer after the shower. I guess it is due the multi layered filtration within the cartridges.

For VERY HARD water, lasts 2 weeks. worth it!
My apartment has such hard water the toilet and shower turn dark orange after 3 days of cleaning. The taste of unfiltered water tastes like blood it's so full of iron! And the smell of our water is so strongly sulfuric it stinks up the bathroom when water is running.I have VERY curly long hair, and after a couple months of hard water it was becoming so tangled and brittle I lost inches off my hair from the knots.This filter is EXCELLENT! Had to run the water through filter for about 5-7 minutes before it effectively begins filtering. The filter works so well, there is no sulfer odor, and the water is so clean if it gets in my mouth it tastes normal, and no longer like iron!With water as hard as mine, the filter lasts 2 weeks. The filter is rated for 3 months but a warning: if you have VERY hard water like mine, it will need frequent changing! That said, if you have hard water like mine, it is worth frequent changing! Given a 4 pack of filters is about $20, it's about $10/month to maintain which is affordable and worth it!

Hard water has no chance!
This filter has been a game changer for my hair and skin. Our hard water is harsh but this easy to use filter has helped my hair feel soft and my skin feels much less dry after showering. Great value for the price!
