10 Pack Micro Cartridge Fuses - FMM MCASE Type Fuse (20 Amp)

I purchased these to replace a fuse on my wife's Ford Fusion. It is important to get the correct form and fit for your car. It used to be there were fewer fuse options in cars but that has changed. It took me a while to find the correct fuse. I had to look at size and profile as well. This is working well so far. I may test one to see where it blows, i.e., how close to 20 amps but that is down the road. I had thought of going to an auto parts store but given the price, I know I couldn't get any fuse of this type for under a dollar. Of course I now have 9 extra fuses, but we expect to keep this car for a long time. So the auxiliary power fuses are the ones that tend to blow and they are primarily 20 amp so I may use these down the road. I hope not, of course.

I had a phone charger for the car that went bad but didn't know that at first. Blew the fuse to the cig plug so I couldn;t use my inverter. Dropped in at an Irish-sounding name auto parts store and bought a new fuse - like $6.75 for ONE. Put it in and plugged my inverter in and all good. Plugged the cig charger in and instantly no power. That was almost $7 down the drain in 30 seconds. I ordered a 10-pack for not much more than that (and a new cig charger with all the money I saved).

My running lights work! A while ago I replaced original 20amp mini box fuse with one bought at auto store. Never did the replacement work! Finally found these on amazon and guess what? Voila!

Worked perfect. Had to replace trailer running light’s fuse. Now I keep a collection of fuses in the cab so I don’t have to run dark if they pop again at night.
