This book is one that you could read once every year as a best practice. I love the practicality of the book along with the science. I feel like most authors, either lead with one of the other, and aren’t good at communicating. Rene goes above and beyond in his book. He is as powerful with words in a book as he is in person. Pick up this book and dive into it.

I had heard through business channels that Rene Rodriguez had some good communication and leadership concepts, so I purchased his book hoping that what I had heard was correct. After reading the book I found that it did have ideas on communication, conflict resolution, and basic leadership that you can utilize starting on day one to help with your work and home life. I highly recommend purchasing the book and spending some time understanding these concepts and putting them to use.Shortly after reading the book, I got the opportunity to go to one of Rene’s workshops. From the very beginning, his workshop was informative, interesting, and thought-provoking. Having attended several business seminars over the years including some from the very best (two memorable ones were Zig Ziglar and Steven Covey), Rene’s interactive approach was not only different, but it was also effective. In retrospect, his workshop gave me more actionable ideas than any other workshop/seminar/class I may have ever attended.Buy the book, and spend time understanding and implementing the concepts.You will be better for it
