It works like it should
This was one of 2 tools like this I purchased. This one was a little more work to manage but could shape around more complicated cuts. One downside is the knobs holding it together unscrewed so easily sometimes it comes apart while setting it up. Not a bad tool tho will definitely keep using it.

Nice to have in the tool box!
Have had it for a few weeks and used it for a few woodworking projects, making built-in custom shelves in our home. Buying this was the fix for getting exact measurements for floating corner shelf cuts in a home that has hardly a corner that is perfectly square and being able to transfer the template you make with this tool to your material makes fitting and scribing easier. The ruler itself is built fairly well, and it's easy to move the segments around, Once you have the dimensions locked in, be mindful when transporting it to your cut material, a good bump or impact can move the template. but overall a good product!
