I have installed the strainer but have not put it to use yet. It seems to be a well built product.

Is this a knock-off? Not for salt water!
This is what the screen looks like after TWO MONTHS inline with my refrigeration in the Sea of Cortez. The screen is deteriorating and the weld is completely GONE. I bought two, one to replace one that the plexi had gone cloudy. I could not get the new unit to seal and ended up using the clouded cup over again. NOT A VALUE AT HALF THE PRICE.
