These lights are durable and provide the most beautiful warm glow to our outdoor patio. They were easy to assemble and hang. Definitely worth the purchase!

I originally bought two sets of these lights a few years back to hang across my patio where I didn't have enough light coming from the deck lights. They fully illuminated my patio and looked amazing! I've restrung my lights with a better pole set, and needed more lighting, so I bought a third set of this same product. They are heavier than your typical string party lights, so I recommend using a light installation kit with a wire, and anywhere you're not attaching them to structures, go with thick steel poles (not aluminum) so the lights don't sag.Helpful tip for those who are using these lights for the first time: when inserting the bulb, plug in and then slowly twist each bulb until it turns on. Don't worry if it feels tight and that you might break the bulb. It's just the socket creating a waterproof seal. I made the mistake of putting in all the bulbs, thinking they were in tight, and when I plugged it in, only two bulbs were lit. I thought the product was defective so I returned it. When the replacement order arrived, the same thing happened. This time, I slowly kept turning the bulbs until they lit, and voila! It worked this time, so it was totally user error.

I normally would not have taken the time to write about string lights, but these are easy to put up, the "Edison" antique yellowish glow adds a nice dimension to the light, but they are probably the safest lights I have seen in a long time. The cords are very heavy duty, the lamps tighten well into the rubber boots they rest in, and the AC connectors are of exceptional quality.I noticed that the manufacturer also supplied a cheat sheet for strings of lights that are added together and the power they consume. This mitigates what I call "Darwin's Waiting Room" and believe it or not, with no warning and 10 strings of cheap lights, people start fires. The factory that made these had safety as a high priority.The price is right and they are a good value.All this means is that it does not cost the Earth to build safe, quality electrical consumer products. These lights are not much, if any more cost that all the others. I guess that's what they call "commercial grade" which means "not junk." I'm truly grateful the manufacturer looks out for those who don't.Excellent product, Sunthin. I appreciate all the product's characteristics. Safety is a big deal to me and I like how you executed it.

The first box I bought one strand didn’t work. It just kept tripping my breaker, so I had to get a replacement sent. I wish they were a bit brighter but they are still very nice and add a lot to the look of my backyard. They definitely feel commercial grade and I really liked that they female end has a cap if you don’t need to plug anything in to that end of the strand.

I am editing this review and I am going to also include some pictures of the packing. I ordered these lights on July 1st 2020. I got the package on July 3rd 2020. I opened the box and both strands were missing. Also the state of the box it came in looked like my grand kids had gotten a hold of it and just ripped it open on Christmas. It was evident that the box had been tampered with and the strands removed. So I had bulbs and no stands. I was upset to saw the least, but first world problems. So I contacted Sunthin directly with their contact phone number, left a message with my problem and within hours, no lie, within hours someone called from the customer service, apologized for the issue and let me know what I should do to get what I needed. Also they emailed me to check on me and my order to see where I was at in the process.Cool. So I went through the replacement process on July 3rd 2020 and got my new lights on July 6 2020. Again the package was a mess and actually had Post Office tape that said "package rewrapperd/resealed" (Pics included).Fortunately the contents of the box were intact. The strand are heavy duty and well made. No issues with light bulbs being broken. Honestly it's well worth the money. I have also included pics of the lights up at our house. Minus the packaging issue, the lights are fantastic and I have confidence that they will definitely hold up to weather. I recommend these lights highly.

I ordered 3 strings of the 48ft (2 with glass Edison style bulb and 1 Led). You can see the difference in the images. The LED have a good look to them but are very white in color and very bright. The glass bulbs are the right kind of brightness and have a slightly orange/yellow color to them which is nice and less intense.I've researched and compared this brand to other outdoor string lights and they seem to be good to last outdoors so far. I would recommend these with the glass bulbs and get the 98ft length if you're setting up in an outdoor/yard space. The 48ft lengths would be best suited to light up an outdoor deck, porch or balcony area. You can also order the glass or LED bulbs by themselves if you need or want to replace any. Be advised some glass bulbs might short out on you on your first light up, just replace with the extra lights that come in the box.

I originally bought these lights for my wedding, four strands all linked together fine and worked perfect. The holes at the top of each bulb made stringing them onto a wire very easy. I had them up between the trees in under an hour. Rained intermittently in the days they were up, no problems there either.That was 3 years ago. We gave out the rest of the strands to family members but kept one and set it up under out back porch. I finally got around to getting a plug socket adaptor to link them into an outdoor fixture that is controlled by an internal switch. Anyway, today the first light bulb burnt out, and probably only because I took them down and jostled them about. This strand and it's bulbs have survived three years and 2 natural disaster level windstorms that claimed fences and trees and every trampoline in the neighborhood.10/10.
