This looks like a solid, metal spray gun with a plastic trim. It isn't. The hose connector is a metal cover over weak plastic. Within just a few weeks light domestic use the hose connector had snapped off the handle. I spoke to Hozelock customer services who, frankly, couldn't care less. I asked if they wanted me to send them photos and their customer services agent simply said "Why?". Amazon kindly replaced the spray gun but, again, with just a few weeks use it's broken in exactly the same place. This time Amazon have kindly given me a refund. Thank you Amazon.

I've had two of these spray guns (about to get a 3rd). The different spray options are very good and useful for watering all types of plants. It could be a 5-star review if it wasn't for the fact that 2 out of 2 guns have all broken at the same point where the gun connects to the hose. Amazon are kindly sending me a replacement so this will be my third one and I don't hold out much hope of this lasting unless Hozelock have updated the product. Looks like lots of other customers have seen the same problem.We tried calling Hozelock customer service and wow were they rude and dismissive. They didn't care at all that their product was broken and deflected it back to Amazon as it was within a year of purchase. I'd rule out buying a Hozelock product again purely on how abrupt they were. Amazon on the other hand have been very helpful.3rd time lucky hopefully. If this breaks again I won't be getting another.

I purchased this item November'17 but not opened until 2018 season, and not heavily used - after a month or so it now sprays water near the base of the hose connector ring! Also water streams out of pistol grip! The previous one I bought broke altogether at the connector - I thought that may be a one-off! So wrong - look at all of the feedback. The worst Hozelock item I've purchased, but I like the aerated water function.DON'T BUY THIS VERSION.

Leaked right from new. After about 15-30 seconds use the leak got worse until the water was gushing out from inside at the connector interface and not from the spray head. Seems broken as per other users experiences. Hozelock usually good, but this seems like a pile of rubbish! Zero stars for the product, one star because Amazon were quick to send a replacement - hope that fares better.

Product broke within 2 weeks. The hose connector broke away from body..Third hoselock gun I have brought. All broke within 3 years
