The Only Food For Our Dog
our dog loves this dogfood and this one only. it keeps him healthy, strong and regular. the nuggets are chewable sized and the ingredients are just what we would feed him if we were cooking for him. he loves the aroma andwould eat the whole bag if we didn’t put it out of his reach!! we’re so happy to be able to get it so quickly and easily.

My go to dog food
THe organic kibble market is a little slim, and I am not a believer in grain free diets (humans and dogs have been eating grain virtually our entire existence). But, I don't like when arbitrary grains are used as fillers. This kibble does not have the common fillers found in some organic kibble and is a good percentage meat.I like the oatmeal because it's food-grade grains. I do mix it with Stella and Chewy's raw freeze dried and together my dog thinks it's irresistible. I think there is a lot of benefits to a raw diet, but it can get quite expensive and I think exclusively raw is a bit overboard, so this mixed with some raw pellets is a great solution. In a hurry or when I was waiting on an order of the raw brand I use, I have used this kibble alone (minus the dental health mix in) and she likes it just fine by itself. If you want a high quality organic dog food, this is the best I have found that is readily available at most retailers.Remember, dogs are like kids, if you let them eat whatever they want they will choose salty and sugary stuff. Even if you dog doesn't like this at first (sometimes dogs don't like the switch), it's important that you control your dogs diet. Dogs won't let themselves starve, but they will test you. So if you are committed to making a healthy change and worried they might not like this over all flavory filler junk in the main brands, make the switch and don't give them anything else. Withina couple of weeks they will salivate for this stuff like they do the crap stuff (that is made to make them addicted). That said, I have switched brands and flavors (used to use the tender and true, but they have a particular filler ingredient on my "not great" list relatively high up on their ingredient list) and my dog has never stuck her nose up anytime I switched to Organix. So five stars all around. High recommend the flavor WITH oatmeal. Unless your dog has a confirmed grain triggered allergy (far less likely than we are led to believe), this flavor has the best mix of healthy ingredients.

Extremely expensive but my dog with sensitive stomach eats it with no issues
I have trouble finding a food my dog can eat that doesnt cause loose stools or the runs. This is top quality food that is outrageously expensive but I feed it anyway because he likes it, doesnt cause GI issues and I like the fact that it is organic. I am all organic myself and believe my pets should have the same. There are so many additives in food. If you dog has skin issues, I recommend this this brand also.

Great food, price keeps increasing
Got this for my German shepherd that has a fussy tummy. She mostly likes it (she’s not really excited about any food other than actual chicken) and it doesn’t make her have the runs. The problem is that in the 3 years that we’ve been using it the price keeps steadily increasing. I remember seeing this as a very common comment amongst long time users when we were researching it and first started using it—that should have been a red flag, but I ignored it. Then I recently talked to my vet about food suggestions and they told me to get my dog off of grain free as research has shown that it can lead to health problems down the line, that was the last straw. I’m currently slowly transitioning my dog off of this brand.

Our dog has been having this food for over 10 years!!!
It's sad to see this amazing brand discontinued. Our dog has had this food for over 10 years switching between different recipes. Her favorite one is the one with dry salmon in it. Now that this brand is discontinued and our dog's teeth are half gone, we are switching her food to a soft fresh one. Hope she will like her new food. Anyways thanks to everyone who worked at this brand, it's been a good run!
