My past issue has been fixed
Belinlen was kind and caring enough to contact me after my initial review on these when I mentioned cutting my mouth/tongue...They say they have changed them for the better. I will give these another chance in the future, but right now they're too expensive for my wallet.Thankfully, the love and care enough for their costumers to write quickly and refunded me for my pain. Now how many sellers are going to care half as much as these people? I have never been contacted on here with more concern in my life and I've been on here for years! Thanks again Belinlen!

They're not awful, exactly....
They're standard "compostable" utensils. They're functional, except that the fine print is that they're only compostable in industrial composting facilities (and may be worse than plastic in landfills), and the only noticeable difference between them and ordinary plastic tableware is that the forks tines can soften and deform in hot food. It's a matter of scale to me. If you're buying for your family, it's probably not worth it unless an industrial composting facility is somehow convenient for you, but if you are in charge of some enterprise that goes through a lot of disposable utensils, then I'd say they are perfectly adequate, absolutely comparable to most plastic tableware, and reasonably priced, so it's definitely worth looking into proper disposal.

Great product, durable and will degrade over time.
Purchased these a year ago this month and decided to test out the biodegradability of them. I buried a regular plastic spoon purchased at the dollar tree and one of these spoons in the dirt in my back yard, half sticking up in the air and half in the dirt. After a year in the Florida elements the dollar tree spoon was as sturdy as it was when I buried it but this spoon had thinned out some, not near as durable as when it was buried. I think over time maybe 5 years or so it would biodegrade by the elements. Also they hold up exceptionally well washing, drying and occasionally on the dishwasher. They are strong enough to cut meat and basically hold up extremely well. For these reasons I am purchasing My second set a year later.

Great alternative to plastic silverware!
I had so much left overs that I will be saving it for future parties. I was so happy with the quality and fast shipping, definitely recommend.

I love that theses are earth friendly and disposable for trips, camping, school snacks and lunches etc.

Great item!
Great product. I bought these to help with BBQ at the house to make cleanup easier. My only complaint is there is nothing on the cutlery to distinguish its compostable so I’m worried my composting company will think it’s plastic and reject my bin.

Wow!
These are great! I think they might actually be stronger than plastic disposable cutlery.I especially like the fact that the tines on the fork are pointed, so they will pierce your food. (I find blunted fork tines so annoying!) I haven’t had the chance to cut food with the knife, but they look like they would do the job.I still can’t believe these aren’t high quality plastic! So strong and durable!

Great product
It's just amazing how this technology has moved along over the last 20 years. These are great. There are no products on the market, even including nonbiodegradable tableware, that match up to these.

A better alternative to the usual.
I was expecting these to be weird or flimsy or off in some crazy way but-They're indistinguishable from regular plastic cutlery. Worked fine with no issues.

So convenient for me- a one kitchen sink, no dishwasher person- when company comes. Plus, I don't have to feel like a planet polluting dirt bag.Good price too!

Can’t tell whether the product claims are true
This product arrived in a brown box without any mention of brand, manufacturer or certification. I have serious doubts this product that feel very plasticy is indeed compostable and biodegradable so sent it back.

Hurray - not garbage!
So long as the cutlery actually does compost as promised, it is wonderful. Strong sturdy and hard to believe it is made out of cornstarch!
