ZillaReptile Habitat Décor Basking Platform Corner Ramp, Large (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Got it for my mud turtle 20g long fits perfect in the corner and sits at good high also the snails seem to like the new cave

My husband and I purchased this ramp ahead of the bearded dragon we knew we would be getting. Our beardie seems to really like it and uses both the top for basking and the underside cave for feeling more secure- or hiding from the light when my husband forgets to turn off his monitor before bedtime. It holds heat well and cleans/sanitizes easily, which is an A+ in my book. One star deducted due to some odd edging around the product, and air bubble pockets in the resin on the underside of the ramp. One word of caution; our beardie is going to out grow his ramp relatively soon, and he is not at all full grown. We did not have any of the issues of the ramp not being even but I would not have been surprised if it had been given the edges of the product. He now prefers his hammock to get up high (odd for a bearded dragon who supposedly needs floor space, not height). I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a spot for their smaller or arthritic animal to bask. However, if you are getting or have a larger animal and don't want to buy multiple products, buy the next size up.

The platform looks really cool. The jumbo is a good size. Tall enough that Tengge, my beardie, could crawl under, wide enough for him to climb and rest on, but narrow enough that it doesn’t take up all the room in his tank. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to actually use it yet due to in breaking during shipment. I’ve requested to returns at this point because I really would like this ramp. It would be perfect in Tengge’s tank. There wasn’t enough bubble wrap around the ramp itself. There also needs to be a lot of bubble wrap or packaging peanuts in the shipping box to cushion the box the ramp is placed in. *Fingers crossed*-hoping 3rd time is a charm.

The product took a while to get here (probably mostly due to the weather, I’d gotten it around February) and when it arrived, the right staircase was broken off. It was a clean break so I just hot-glued it back together. I really enjoyed how it looked in my gecko tank, and my leopard gecko liked it too. However, the glue only lasted for a few months so I ended up scrapping the whole thing and got something different.Overall, I like the design and it provided a nice basking spot as well as a hide. It’s just a little risky shipping due to how it's designed.

It came broken but I super glued it so I’m happy.. Nail glue or super glue would help if this happens to you! :)

Somewhat realistic looking. Its a very dark green which would blend in nicely with a tropical setup. I use it in the corner of my 20 gallon long tank for my leopard gecko and he loves it. I have it in the corner as his hot hide and he chills under it during the day and I even sometimes catch him sleeping on top. For an adult leopard gecko there is plenty of space both bellow and on top. I would not recommend this for any reptile larger than a leopard gecko. The basking platform is not large enough for an adult bearded dragon, although it would be suitable for a juvenile or baby beardie. It would also be too small for any adult turtle since the platform measures only about 5"x 5". The edges are rough/sharp, but my leo uses these rough edges when shedding.

The size described on the site is way different than the actual product. I was surprised because it was was smaller than posted. Please correct the description for the other customers.

These products off-gas. There was a very strong off-gassing the first 4 days, and a couple weeks later, I can still smell it fairly strongly in the bearded dragons cage. I hope that it isn't too toxic for him or for my son. I removed the items so they could off-gas outside of his cage for several days.Note that I have a weak sense of smell--I don't usually smell things that others smell. My family was able to smell the off-gassing through much of our house (which is almost 3,000 sq ft). So, it was a pretty big deal.alos, as others noted, the molds are not even or something. These don't sit steady on flat surfaces--they rock. There are a few edges a that I find a bit too sharp, and I'm worried about.So, while these look good, for the prices on them I cannot recommend them. I'm wondering if they are knock offs or something. If your dragons live in a place that is not also your living area, and it you don't mind that this might cause them respiratory problems, then they are fine. But some are still overpriced for the low quality and safety concerns.

Purchased for my 1 year old Bearded dragon, absolutely love it, and just big enough for her to crawl under it to hide and have a shaded spot. First one arrived broken in half, but seller was very quick to ship a new one out for me :) very pleased with this basking platform :)

Ordered the large corner basking piece. Wasn't as tall as I thought it would be, but otherwise it's pretty good. Got this for my bearded dragon.

Got the corner one a while ago, didn’t realize that it wasn’t flush to the corners, if it’s pressed against the glass one way, it will have a gap on the other side. Otherwise it’s great

I needed this basking platform immediately and it arrived broken. It seemed to be sold out and could not find anything else available. However it was easily fixed with a hot glue gun

i bought a used one and NO WHERE did it mention that it was cracked very upset i thought i got a great deal for 25.99 NOT when its broken very disappointed with amazon it even has the "INSPECTED AND REPACKAGED" sticker...
